Good morning Dale and lurkers

Breakfast looks amazing, as always. Thank you. I agree, words are pretty powerful. When kiddo was younger I had him squeeze a tube of toothpaste (small, free one that we get from the dentist twice a year ) then I told him to put the toothpaste back in the tube. He didn’t know how to, struggled with it. I said that’s exactly why you need to choose your words carefully. Once it comes out, you can’t put it back.

Rat2, as much as I’m not a fan of Hollywood, Costner is one of my favorites to look at. Rip is easy on the eyes too and while the dark look is necessary, I prefer Cole Hauser with lighter hair. ;) Definitely an intense show.

We are at 35 with more rain. Radar shows snow showers to the north and south of us. Crazy that you are colder than us, Dale.

It’s ok, Dale. It’s gotta be expected this time of year.

I had a beef roast in the crockpot but halfway through the day, I decided I didn’t want that for dinner. So I made spaghetti parmesan with meatballs lol. Had to cook the roast as it was thawed. It will make for an easy dinner this week ;)

    Good evening lurkers

Pot roast, baby potatoes with mesquite seasoning and some squash I found in the freezer  Won’t tell you how long it’s been in there but it wasn’t too bad. Kiddo was horrified and refused to eat it. Dh restocked the veggies after dinner.

Bet you’re enjoying the temporary-ish cool down. Snow has melted. But there is lake effect snow in the forecast later in the week.

Off to watch some Christmas movies. Hope everyone had a decent day! G’nite if I don’t make it back.

    Good evening Sara
‘We had meatloaf, Brussels sprouts and a vegetable medley.

Yes I’m enjoying the cooler weather :thumb: Got some late afternoon rain to my great surprise, there was a little sleet mixed in with it too.

    Silly kiddo;)

Have a great night Sara, I’ll probably watch NCIS myself.

    Good morning lurkers

Nice, Dale. Hopefully it stays cooler for a bit for you.

Yum, Arby’s. Have you tried the diablo? I have not. I’m a beef and cheddar with lots of Arby’s sauce, kind of gal. Lol.

    Have a great day!
    Good morning Sara
Our high for the entire week is supposed to be 50, yesterday we only made it to 44 .

And so it begins, I’m working today through Thursday, off Friday and work Saturday.

Well, our weather went from 80 degrees to in the 40s and as it usually does to me, it kicked my behind. Stayed in my pj's for 2 days and today I made myself get up and dress. Enough of that.

I can check something off of my list of things I want to do. I went today to a recreation center that is close to my house (5 miles) and joined. They have a really nice workout room with neat machines. The treadmill and elliptical were my favs but I played on some of the others. They have a basketball court where you can walk around the perimeter if you like that better than the treadmill. I could not use the machines that put my arms up. It hurt so I quit. I am not sure what I did to them pulling dad up so many times a day and night but I did do something. I thought they were getting better until today when I tried to use them. I will just take it easy for a while longer and fingers crossed, they heal themselves. They are better than they were two months ago so I am headed in the right direction.

A very nice older man (another 78 years old but had a beautiful smile) invited me to come to the exercise class there. I told him I might just see him there. It is Thursday morning. I will just have to see how I wake up. I never really know. He just came up to me out in the parking lot. Evidently, when I smile at someone it gives off a vibe of do you want to talk to me? heehee I have never met a stranger.

I tried to talk dad into letting me join for the past several years because I told him walking in the extremely cold weather was not good for my joints. It is nice to be able to try it. I have no idea if it is something I will want to do all the time because I have never been a member of a gym but I am looking forward to checking out all the exercise classes and yoga. I have always wanted to do that too. I am still pretty flexible. I might like it.

Sorry, I have been M.I.A. but I am used to living with these little episodes. They pass and that is all that matters. I hope I feel okay tomorrow because Terry called tonight and invited me to go to the church with him again tomorrow night to eat supper. I do like going. They are serving breakfast and I haven't had that in a long time so I am already salivating. heehee

Hope everyone sleeps well and has a wonderful day tomorrow.
