Arrive separate and work out together, absolutely!
Nope. I like my solitude and my aunt talks as much as I do and if I have someone around that I know, I feel like I have to look after them. Old habits. . .

I put my buds in and listen to music. I work on the machines and then walk on the treadmill for an hour while reading my book. After that, I ride the bicycle for a couple of miles. I am not sure if this trend will last, but I am loving it now. There might be another person there briefly but normally I am alone. It is just a rec center but it is so clean. I have not used all the machines but I have already figured out this o'l girl would have to weigh 14 lbs in order to to be capable of doing pull-ups. heehee
Came back empty handed though. They are off all week to try some more.
I hope they have a wonderful time. I am not a hunter but it would probably be like my fishing style. I like to sit and fish but I do not want to catch anything and if by chance it happens, I set them free. I did try to eat venison once but through the doorway, there was a deer mounted on the wall and it was looking at me.
Not sure if it was the snow or that the holidays are upon us.
I'd guess both. We get very little snow but after 4 flakes fall, the bread and milk shelves are empty here and schools let out.

Woke up at 5 and could not go back to sleep. That's okay cause it gave me more time to be excited about my day. Terry and I are joining a shooting range and he is going to bring a bunch of guns and ammo for me to get a feel of what I want.

Then he asked if I would go to another furniture store with him that someone told him about. Either he does not have good taste or he enjoys me scooter-pootin' with him.

I asked what to bring for Thanksgiving dinner with his daughter and she said just to bring a gallon of sweet tea. That's not enough so I am going to make a broccoli salad tonight that is a hit everywhere I take it. I am really looking forward to it because I will see some of his family that I have not seen in a very long time.

Here I was complaining about Jay did not spend enough time with me and now I am wondering if I am spending too much time with Terry. Thanksgiving is going to be fun but he asked for me to go to his sister's for Christmas and then asked me to go to a New Year's party with his friends on the coast. That was why I ended up having the little talk so that he would understand. I would not go anywhere with anyone if I did not feel comfortable. He better not try anything cause I've been working out. heehee

At supper Sunday night, when I told my aunt and cousin, she said "I certainly hope you are not going." I just laughed and said, "I certainly hope you know I am old enough to make my own decisions." Nothing else was said and I was pleased.

I have an update on the busy J-man. He called again Sunday and when I got finished eating, I did return his call. I told him I was sitting in the parking lot because I don't talk and drive at the same time so he asked if I would stop by his house and I did. I did not stay that long but I did enjoy the visit. He explained a little more about why he has not been calling me (a little difficult to explain) but I did believe what he was telling me and I understand it better.

I asked him if he told his cousin to ask me out so he could get rid of me and he immediately said no a little loudly and I do believe him. I told him all the stuff that Terry and I had been doing. He returned to being the nice guy I started out with. He showed me a tool to cut up a pineapple and then he cut one up. He put the whole thing in a container and told me to take it home with me. When he walked me to the car, he said he would very much like to see me again. I told him to call which he did call yesterday to say hello but he did not ask me out. We will see. If I am not busy, I would still like to see him but I know I will be different. I will make sure.

I protect my heart.

I have never heard the word "Karen" until last year. Well, I had an experience with one at the $1.25 store. The conveyor belt was not working so when I saw the cashier reaching I picked up 5 or 6 items that she would never have been able to reach and slid them up for her. The woman in from of me pickup up the items and threw them not at me but beside me. She said because I had touched them she was not going to buy them. Said it was the cashier's job and I should have minded my own business. I told her it was not my job and that she should have done it. I could not believe the ignorance of this woman. She touched them to throw them and how many people have handled them since they arrived from China? She kept running her mouth so I told the cashier to put the gift bag the woman behind me was buying on my tab because I had to do something nice to get rid of the evil thoughts in my head. heehee The woman finally left. The cashier apologized and thanked me and one woman hugged me. Several others said I had done nothing wrong and they would have done the same thing.

I had many more snarky things to say but I smiled and told her to have a wonderful afternoon. I'm pretty sure that upset her the most.

Good evening lurkers

I am strictly a beef, chicken, pork girl. No venison. Tastes gamey to me.

Wow, Rat2. The holidays with Terry n family sound like a good time. You are right, you are old enough to make your own decisions. We are hosting here for both sides.

That was nice of Jay. But I still have a higher opinion of Terry ;)

That woman sounds like a real peach. Yuck!

WOOT!! One more day!! Thank goodness, I am so tired. Can’t wait for some downtime.

    Good evening Sara

    We had stir fry.

‘They were moving so slowly at the shop today ... I left at 1:30 since Cassie was just standing around yakking. Randy said he planned to close at noon tomorrow so I’m off indefinitely. I’m thrilled since I’m still a bit sick with something.

    Good evening lurkers:wub:

Yeah, I had to work today and we ended up being extremely short. Was hoping to scoot out a little early but last minute customers had other plans. I’m all for mental health days but everyone was there yesterday and seemed to be just fine.

Doing some last minute things and then I’m going to bed. Tomorrow is going to be busy. I’m already exhausted
