Lol!! Enjoy, Rat2 and hurry back to fill us in.

Oooh no cookin’ did you finish up those Christmas leftovers, Dale?

Since we picked at stuff yesterday, we made our Christmas dinner tonight. Baked ziti, salad and garlic breadsticks. Followed by a couple games of Tic Tac Pong (no alcohol, as Pong is a college drinking game) and Christmas trivia.

I’m ready for bed. Hope we aren’t too sore tomorrow from all the snow cleanup

Sweet dreams everyone

I hope you’re not sore too Sara! Highly unpleasant.

We still have quite a bit of leftovers to work through, I may make some chicken soup tomorrow.

    Have a good night

Hiya Dale, Sara, R2, smt and lurkers

Hope you all had a great Christmas, ours was very nice. Prime rib roast was excellent, tonight we are having leftover pizza. Christina enjoyed all her gifts. Don't know how to post videos here anymore, here are a few before gift opening.

Well, the coffee is good at this time too!. Terry wanted a wake-up call at 4 and I wanted to get my shower and wash my hair so I am going to be bright-eyed and bushy-tailed this morning!

I cannot tell y'all how excited (and scared) about this trip. I just know I am going to have a good time even without wifi. My friend Cindy is going to come over if I stay longer than a week to water my few plants and wind my clock. I have this one hydrangea that she gave me for my birthday that I have just about killed but it is hanging on with a few leaves. I also have an Amaryllis that is about 3 inches tall that I would hate to lose. I do not have a green thumb but I love plants and I try really hard. I used to go to Walmart and buy discount flowers that were darn near dead because I like to bring them home and give them one more chance to thrive. I lost some but oh, what a joy it was when I got one of them to bloom. I've told y'all that it takes very little to excite me.

I think I have the only thing I did not pack is my ukulele and I thought about taking that. I probably will if he takes me back in warm weather. Probably would help him catch any fish on the boat though. heehee

I will definitely have to learn to use my phone for posting because if I can't tell someone what I'm doing and how happy I am, I will explode.

I had packed my hazelnut and vanilla creamer so I just have coffee with a little sugar in it and hey, it's pretty good. I might start drinking it this way.

Well, it is off to shower. Not sure if I will be singing like I usually do because it might be too early for even me to listen to me. heehee

I am sure I will be back on but if by chance I do not, I want everyone to have a beautiful and happy New Year!

Good afternoon Dale and Joey

I think we are both fortunate to have good kids. There will be rough days for sure, it’s how they learn. The good days definitely make up for it.

I almost gave you an update on Walmart, Dale before I remembered you don’t live around the corner  Dh just got home from Tops, some of the shelves are bare but he was able to get the stuff we are low on and then some.

Taking it easy today. Watching tv and working on some laundry. It’s up to 38 And windy. Think the snow melted some and refroze because it’s not blowing around. Yay!

Hahaha. One of the reasons we stopped “grocery” shopping at Walmart. We always came out of there with a bill higher than necessary because we always added things that we could do without. Although these days, I’m sure that even grocery shopping is insane.

Thank goodness I ONLY have a son ;)

I know she did. I once was her ;)

Tomorrow is our garbage pickup too. We got the cans out tonight because there is no telling when they will roll through. I know they are behind.
Ours is down the hill too but they usually get here around 10 a.m.
