Good morning all. I tried to chill out last night and get rid of a headache. It is only minimally better upon awakening this morning. Not sure what is up with that. Feels like sinuses maybe. Thank goodness it is just one of those that agitate you and not one that makes you go into a dark room.
They are calling for snow Saturday night and Sunday morning here. With the people around here that means yesterday started the bare shelves of milk and bread at the grocery store.
No snow in the forecast for Sea Level (where I am going) but rain for most of our trip. I hate there will be no boat ride but I really don't care what the weather is going to do because I know I will have fun no matter what.
One of the couples I met last time is going to be down there. They happen to live somewhere close to where I live. They were so nice to me and Donna was really a funny lady. Has no filter. Sort of like someone you all have come to know/tolerate.

I was sort of surprised last night because Terry called and said he was going to trade guns with some family member tonight. I sure am going to miss going to the church for supper. Probably worked out best for me. They were having BBQ and that seems to raise my blood pressure. Not a good idea if you have a headache. It also works out for me because I have not even started packing yet. Boy, not like last time when I started days before packing everything but the kitchen sink. Nope, I imagine my packing will be a lot lighter this time.
I never use all the sauce that comes with the General Tso chicken I fixed the other night. I was not very hungry last night so I got out a pack of ReadyRice and pour that sauce over it. It was good. I try not to waste anything. I will have to find something else tonight also because I did not want to
buy salad stuff since I was going to be away. I am sure I will find something in the freezer that I need to get rid of.
Our glasses (my aunt's and mine) are supposed to come in on the 10th. I am going to call today and see if possibly they have come in early. I want my aunt to get hers as soon as possible because I am hoping she will be able to see a little better. If they do not come in, I am going to call my cousin (her daughter) and ask if she can take her to Samsclub to pick them up. When I made my aunt's eye appointment I told her I was making it on her daughter's off day because I might be away. I am sure her daughter will take her. I am really concerned about my aunt's eyesight. I almost feel like I should stay home and take her but that is just the caregiver coming out in me.
And I bet you thought since I did not post last night that you wouldn't have to read a short story.
I get started and my fingers/mind will just cannnot find a stopping point.
Well, the gym is open now and that treadmill is calling my name. Better have a good workout since I will not be able to go til next Tuesday or Wednesday. Can you believe that I am going to miss going to the gym? I think the old me was abducted and replaced with the new and improved Rat 2.0. bahahahahahaha

I’ve got two going right now that I like and can get them locally if needed. I’m dual using so they last a while but a carton of cigs is well over 100 dollars now so I’ve got to do something.
Definitely not consistent but something is better than nothing. Lol
