We had a light rain this morning but not much. I walked on the treadmill for an hour but was not feeling the weights today. I stopped by Sheetz and got a Slushie and came home. I don't think I have been this still in a long time. Sat bundled up in a blanket all afternoon. Oh, I am not complaining. It was nice for a change.
After all the good things y'all had for supper I hate to admit that I just had soup with rice in it but it was sort of comforting on a chilly night. I just wanted something hot and easy.
Believe it or not, I do not have a lot to talk about tonight. Enjoy it because it does not happen often.

My cousin made a dip one time that was very tasty but I have never had it in an omelet. Sounds good.

DH and DS left disgustedly early this morning for their camping weekend. I get a weekend free of cooking, dishes and laundry I really miss Elly during these weekends though, she was my sidekick.

Don't you just love it when sleep comes in spurts? That's okay cause I'm going to have a good day.
I am expecting the delivery of 4 things today. Since I am always buying gallons of water, I found a pump that goes on a 5-gallon jug. I did not take into consideration how heavy that jug was until I bought one yesterday. Sheesh! I am glad I added weightlifting to my regimen at the gym. And picking dad up off the floor so many times didn't hurt either. heehee
I have well water but I have never had it tested to see what is in it. It's clear and tastes good. Since I have the big jug now, I wonder if I could get out my huge pot and boil my water and pour it into that jug. I am forever trying to figure out a way to be frugal.
Hey, you just about have to this day and time with the costs rising more each day. I have been practicing to be an o'l fart all my life.

Ugh, that stinks it’s going to be a soggy trip for the boys, Dale and I’m real sorry you’re missing Elly.
Never had well water so I’m not too sure, Rat2, but anything that saves money sounds like a good plan.
Boys had pasta with red sauce and cheese and I had boxed mac and cheese for dinner. Not a fan of penne but Dh loves it, so that’s what he makes. Kiddo had to eat early because he’s at soccer practice now.
Thank goodness it’s Fri-Yay eve!! I requested a personal day for Monday, so 3 day weekend for me
Need to get my spring cleaning done to host Easter dinner. Absolutely dumbfounded that March is basically over and Easter is right around the corner. Seems like we just celebrated the “holidays”

‘Well I don’t know about up that’a’way but I saw sunshine today so it’s probably okay for them although they do usually get rained on. One thing is for sure they’re not going to be cold, in the 80’s today
I am not happy.That’s great that you’re getting a 3 day weekend but not so good that you’re planning on working it so hard.
Just finished with some leftover pizza. It was so-so .
I was right. It ended up being a pretty good day for me. I went to the gym and walked and then went to the park and walked on the trail. I love walking beside a lake. The turtles were camera shy though. I tried a couple of times to get a picture of them and every time they would jump off into the water.
After that, I went to the gun range and did some shooting. I thought maybe the new glasses would help me hit the x but they did not. I try to aim at the x but I hit the center of the man's chest every time. I definitely need more practice but at least I know I am going to stop whatever or whoever tries to do anything to me. I think it might be because my hands are sort of weak. Maybe. Who knows. Maybe I need a gun with a laser. I used one of those last time I went and they were pretty accurate and really awesome.
Of course, before I came home I stopped and got myself another Slushie. I am really on a Slushie kick. That usually does not happen until really hot weather. I'm early this year.
Going to bed now with my sore little thumbs. They were hurting before I went shooting but worse now. Between the rain coming, arthritis, and shooting, there was no guitar/uke playing around here tonight. I will give my thumbs a rest tomorrow and I am sure they will be fine.
