Good evening everyone

Definitely still half asleep, I started to reply “wow, I didn’t know the internet guys worked that late” then I realized she went for a walk during that window of time. So I reread and caught my mistake, thankfully before I hit post :lol::lol:

Busy day. Cheese quesadillas for dinner with a salad. (We tend to eat the same crap over and over ;)) Remembered hard boiled egg this time lol I’m ready for bed. Sweet dreams lurkers

Yes, it was warm here today too. 84 I believe. I did not walk outside but they gym was warm. Glad I always have my fan in my gym bag. I needed it.

The internet man was late but that's okay. It is installed and there was no big issues. YAY! People do love to talk to me. He showed me pics of his new puppy and his motorcycle. Told me about his uncle who was in a wreck. He was in the service and flew helicopters. His daughter has a motorcycle, His granddaughter's birthday was Saturday. His wife has a titanium rod in her back, etc., etc. He was nice though. He was also the second person I know now that was bitten by a tic and can't eat hoofed animals. Sheesh! I am going to be scared of tics all summer. That is so weird.

Dropped the equipment off at Spectrum, got a Slushie, and headed to deliver the flowers. Came back and went to the gym and got my steps in. It was a pretty busy day and I am going to try to go to bed early again tonight. heehee And no one is visiting me between 8-10, (dammit). I thought that was funny Sara.

Terry's sister texted me today and said if I did not have any plans, would I like to come to her house and go eat with them somewhere I have never been? Well, of course, I said yes and I will GPS my boo-tay down there tomorrow afternoon.

Nite to all and hope you have a wonderful night's sleep.

Good morning TARTARA and lurkers

Sorry it’s so warm for you ladies :( We are supposed to hit 75 today  Unfortunately that will bring some bad weather. Anything from thunderstorms to straight line winds, hail and even a tornado. The ground is so saturated, I am worried about loss of power from downed trees.

Lolol, Rat2. I’m glad I made you laugh. Sorry no visitors ;) Hope you have a lovely dinner!

Have a great day!!

Good morning TARTARA and Sara

We had quite a storm last night too Sara, tons of lightning. I didn’t feel any thunder so that part must not have been too bad.

Rat2 I guess you learned more than you ever wanted to about the service guy  Too bad he was married, the awkward getting to know you date was over already:w00t:

Old timer here...still lurking occasionally. Came on board ECF back in the Bogue Carto days, Johnboy Lava tanks, and the Provari and REO mods (still have 4 of those) were king :)
Good afternoon FFAmecanic, welcome to the official lurker thread ;)
Got a bunch of those Provari myself :thumb:

Just a note for those who knew Uncle, he passed away last week

    Good evening lurkers

Ohh Dale :( the name is familiar but I don’t know that we ever interacted.

Hiya, FFAmechanic! Provari owner also, but they need batteries, which I’m guessing I’ll never find. Lol

We were lucky, Dale as in we only got quite a bit of rain with some heavy downpours. I did hear Thunder but never saw any lightning.

    Hi Sara
Oh I really thought you might have met him before you settled in with us. He was such a gruff sweetheart.

Glad your weather wasn’t too bad for you, we had a lot of rain earlier but we can always use it. No tornadoes that I know of so that was good.

    Good morning lurkers

Happy Faux Fri-Yay!! Office is closed tomorrow and I have a vacation day for Monday. Woot!!

I’ve noticed my memory is getting worse as I get older, Dale. :( Think I am starting “the change”. So glad there were no tornadoes. I saw a Tiktok of one somewhere in your state and it looked terrifying.

Hope you all have a wonderful day!

    Good morning Sara
You must have lots of cleaning planned for this weekend :p

You have my sympathy if you are starting, that’s a thing of the past for me .

If it was the tornado from this past week then yes, it was bad. 5 deaths and around 50 hospitalized in central Arkansas.

    Let the weekend commence!!

Ohhh Dale that’s horrible!! TikTok is flooded with tornado videos the last few days, so I definitely think the one I saw was recent.

About to write up my list of things to accomplish. I have quite a few tasks to get done before Sunday. Monday will be my day of rest lol Already know what I’m making in the crockpot ;)

Hope everyone had a nice day!!

I hope it will not be much of an inconvenience for you. I had a hysterectomy when I was 34 but they left my ovaries. Said I had a 50/50 chance I would go through the change. If I did, I didn't notice it. I hope that means I will not have it but it seems I've been late doing everything else so who knows.

I GPS'd yesterday to Sharon and Kenny's. (Terry's sister and hubby) I had such a wonderful time. I cannot tell you how glad I am that they wanted to stay friends with me.

We went to a diner that had a 50's theme. It was so cute and the food was really good. I was really bad and ate what they called a Double D. I have not eaten red meat in a while so I got the biggest double hamburger they had on the menu. It had everything on it. Cheese, grilled onions, chili, slaw, bacon, lettuce, and tomato. And you know what? I ate every bite of it and the fries that came with it. I was so stuffed.

Kenny wanted Pecan pie so I told him I was too full but if I would buy the whole pie, could he wait til we got back to their house? He said that sound great and we could have coffee. I could not believe how good that pie was. Sharon nuked it so it was warm and delicious.

I did not even look at the ticket I signed last night and todayI found it and was going to put it away. That was just a regular size. Not some huge pie as I have seen at Sam's but you know how much they charged? $19.95!!!! I have never seen a pie that cost that much but even if I had looked at the price, I probably would have still gotten in because Kenny wanted it. I am forever a people pleaser.

I hope Sharon never finds out how much it was because she would feel bad that I bought it and she would probably feel bad because I left it there. I did not want to bring it home because I really do not have any willpower and it was that good. The main thing is the coffee, pie, and friendship were priceless to me and we all had a great time.

She talked about her brother some more and I am really glad things worked out the way they did. I do not need to be around anyone else who has a drinking problem and definitely not around some with anger issues. I think I have met my quota on that type and I will never put up with it again.

It was warm again today but we had off-and-on sun and several little thunderstorms. The rain was not very hard but it is supposed to rain for a few days. Another cold front is coming through so we are going to go from the 80s down to highs of 60 and lows of 33-35 degrees. Whew! That is going to feel cold after wearing shorts for over a week. I hate it is rainy because the grass needs mowing again. Sheesh! I hate it growing so fast. Instead of fertilizer, I wonder if there is something that you can put on it to cause slower growth without killing it.

    Sleep well all!
