Does he own the place or was it a rental?

No, it was a rental. He asked me Friday night if he rented it would I drive to Georgia to spend the weekend with him. I told him the only way I would do it was if he let me pay half the rental. We are not in a relationship and since we are just dating, I felt like it would only be fair for me to pay half.

I am not complaining. It was the best money I have spent. I thought it was reasonable. $375 for my part. That was for 3 nights. He said he had never met someone like me. I tend to agree. heehee

I will have to find a program to shrink the size of the pictures. The after pictures are the ones I can’t upload.

I had that problem also. I am not sure what phone you have but on mine, you can go to the gallery and edit that picture. The hamburger menu at the bottom right corner has the option to resize. I hit the 60% reduction and then ecf will not tell me it is too large of a download.

I hope you understand. I'm not really techy. Just trying to be helpful.

Yay for long weekends DH and his sister will be going up north to a family reunion, Paco and I will be staying home.

Paco destroyed a roll of toilet paper tonight

I had to chuckle at that. I have never had a dog that did that. I had a cat that hid my Q-tips under the mat at the back door. heehee My girlfriend in W Virginia has a dog that does that all the time if she forgets to put it up on the shelf. That stuff costs way too much to be a toy.

You know, now that I think about it there probably should not be a difference to me. I feel like if we were married or living together I would let him take care of me more. I guess I feel like since we are only dating, it is fair for me to help him pay for big things like the trip. I think he should pay for meals when he asks me to go out. To tell you the honest truth, I am just learning what the rules are for dating since I haven't done it since I was in high school. It's pretty confusing to me. Am I doing something wrong by offering the pay half? I just don't want anyone to take advantage of me again and I definitely could not take advantage of anyone.

No, not at all. As you have probably figured out, I am an open book. What you see is what you get. heehee I like your questions because it makes me think and I will take any advice you have on me adjusting to my newfound freedom.

I called the doctor yesterday and said there is no way I can make it a whole month feeling like I do on 30 mg of thyroid meds. Thank goodness I get a blood test this morning and I pray she will adjust the dosage. I still cannot believe she took me from 120 mg down to 30mg. Grrrr

The pharmacist at Sam's shook his head on that one too. Oh well, all that matters is they get it right. I was on 120mg of Armour Thyroid for 19 years and had consisted thyroid tests the entire time.

As to the relationship thing … I agree it was probably best to pay half the rent for your weekend trip. That way you could avoid unwanted expectations. And now that I think about it I guess it wouldn’t be a relationship unless you agreed to only date each other.

Wow your doctor really pulled a stupid move huh. Hope you get that fixed quickly.

Not only is it too soon to displace Paco but nor do I do family reunions. My lack of hearing is a severe problem, I don‘t even attend my own family reunions. Never enjoyed them anyway.
