Want to talk about a big tease? The man called me today to tell me that the gun I ordered had come in. I was so excited and told him I would be right there. Nope, he said his company had its own policy and you couldn't buy more than 1 gun a week. Is that the silliest thing you've ever heard of? So I have to wait until Monday the 24th since I just bought one. On top of everything else, their policy does not include weekends even though they are open Saturday and Sunday. GRRR

That's okay, I like the anticipation when it is something good!

That’s great that the man came back and cleaned up

I thought it was awfully nice of him. I only met him when I paid him. He was the one who I made sign a handwritten receipt twice because I gave him cash. He wanted to email a receipt.

I do love the roof but he quoted me $1825 on new gutters. I am not sure what they cost but I will get a couple of quotes before I decide. Like everything else, it has probably gone up.

I did not really want to go out to eat again tonight but when I called to check on her, she seemed a little depressed so she needs some 1on1 time with me. I'll make her feel better. Or at least make her laugh.

Oh sorry. It was my aunt I called. And I am not worried anymore. She didn't answer the phone so I just went down there. I told her we were going out to eat and in no time at all, she was ready. We had a nice time and she seemed fine tonight.

We went to supper early so after I left her house, I went to the gym. I have never been this late but I had time to walk on the treadmill and read for over an hour. Lifted a few weights but they closed at 9 so I left to go get my Slushie.

Oh, bless his heart. Hope he is having fun and not disappointed in the loss. Didn't you say they were playing more experienced teams or something to that effect?

Awww, I’m so glad you were able to cheer your Aunt up, Rat2. That is awesome the guy came out and picked up a bunch more staples too! Sorry about the gun.

Honestly, I don’t think he’s having much fun this season with soccer. Yep, they are in a more difficult division (div A) due to being in the top of their division (div B) last year. What the boys fail to realize is that the few games they tied 0-0 is amazing. They held their own with some of these more experienced teams but to them it’s still not a win. It’s heartbreaking.

I hope everyone has a great day!! You’ll find me outside soaking up the sun. Beautiful day ahead. Later we are taking my cousin’s sons to mini golf and out for pizza. Hopefully it will give my Aunt and Uncle some time for themselves.

I did not do much my 2 days off, mowed the lawn and picked up a new wood picnic table for the back yard. Back to work today, will find out if I got my 3 week of vacation when I get there.

Yep, what Joey said. One of our local
Bowling alleys has a course. We figured if weather wasn’t good we could do bowling instead. But luck is on our side today

I don’t mind washing and folding, its the putting away that I don’t like. End ups in a neat pile on a chair and I dig through that for the week. Mother’s day was the first time I’d been golfing since I was a kid. I don’t mind it.

Folding is what I don’t like. I’ve got a rack in the laundry room that I hang things on, sometimes they stay there a little too long

Looks like rain the next two days. Guess I will work on cleaning my closet out. Maybe my mini vacation in August will be better weather wise Dh wants to go for a road trip Friday and show kiddo where he grew up, since he’s already familiar with all my old haunts.
