Soccer game, we won 6-0.

That is awesome! Gotta feel good to him and I know you are a proud parental unit. I hope he has a season full of wins.

$19 for two footlongs, no chips or drinks just the subs.

That is just crazy. I have never been a Subway fan. We have Firehouse Subs here and I think they are better. I rarely go to places like that and I need to start avoiding all the free food too.

I go to the dr for my annual

Fingers crossed that all goes well. I personally do not like going to the doctor but I am forced to go once a year for my physical so I can get my meds.

Believe it or not, that chopper is not bad to ride since he cut that cushion out for me. The first time I rode it I did not have a cushion and I will admit I took a picture of my pink behind. It was the only way I could see how it felt.

But I never complained once. He told everyone about me being a trooper.

My bike is comfy but there is something about having to hold on so tight to someone. Let me tell you, I hold on. He has told a couple of people that it is for sale if they are interested. I told him if I had in choice in the matter that it was not. I am so sentimental and that is the bike I first met him on so I hope he keeps it. Now the bike in TN that made me experience saddle numbness is not in the sentimental category and if he wants to sell it, that is fine with me. But it is his choice. I may have to find a new chauffeur at some point, but I'm keeping mine.

Ken thought his speeding ticket court was today so that is what we have been planning. I missed Bike Week at the beach because of it. Well, he got the paper out to check the time and it is November 2 and not yesterday. Oh well, he said we could still go until last night. His dad called and is having surgery Friday so we are headed to Chatanooga TN tomorrow. Not exactly sure how long we will be gone. It depends on how well his dad does and if his daughter needs us to help while she works.

His dad is 89 and has had a quadruple bypass. He is also a diabetic who does not exactly watch his diet to well (IMO). I am not sure how many times a day he gives himself shots but I saw that he did. I would so hate to have to do that daily.

Good thoughts from you all. I am a firm believer that it makes a difference.

Yesterday Ken said we should do yardwork but then he offered to cook supper for me and I told him I would mow while he prepared it. (I got the best end of the deal).

He fixed meatballs that were wrapped up in cabbage and then put in a big pot with sour kraut over it and I am not sure what else. He said that he thought it was a Polish dish that his mother used to make him when he was a boy. I thought that was so sweet of him.

We ate early and stayed up late watching Yellowstone (he had never seen it). So he made us some sandwiches out of that dish and let me tell you, it was delicious. We have two big containers of it left over and I am glad he made such a big serving because I heard him tell his dad that he had made it and he was going to bring him and his daughter some of it. It is little things like that that make me think he is a good guy. The jury is still out but I think he may be good for me. Only time will tell. I am happy today and that is all that matters.

It only takes me an hour to do the riding part of the yard but after I finished with the backfield, Ken brought me a big glass of tea. It really was not hot at all and I was not thirsty but that is the first time anyone has ever done that for me when I was working. It felt weird but in a good way.

Am I in a relationship? He's just living with me.

He is still on probation until January 17th. I will admit it is a relationship then or I might extend his probation. I really do like him a lot but he is not going to hurt me. I have told him the exact thing.

I will say he has done a pretty good job so far. I seem happy.

I don't think I have told y'all all the hoops I have been jumping through to get dad's stock in my name only and his estate settled. I am still trying to figure out what the lawyer has done. I thought I had it all taken care of until today and me and dad got a statement. They did not close his account out. After talking to several people and coming really close to losing my positive attitude and patience, I think I finally have it taken care of. We will know in a week to 10 days when they send me the confirmation I requested. Fingers crossed.

Ken decided he wanted to leave around 3 in the morning so we will get there early. He is driving so it does not matter to me. So I have had all day to pack. Again I may be taking too much but he cannot tell me how many days we will be there. I am only taking a week and a half of medication so that's when we are coming back.

I think it is a good thing that he is so carefree and does not fret over anything. I am hoping some of that will rub off on me. I have always been so darn structured and maybe even a little OCD. heehee

Ken suggested we burn my aunt's brush pile this morning so that is what we did. I stepped into one of those places in the ground where those pesky little fire ants live. They got my ankles pretty good. It is amazing that something that tiny can hurt that bad. I tried to stomp them off but they hang on so I ended up killing some of them. Looks like I would learn to wear socks and long pants. I never will.
