Good morning all. I have been up all night binge-watching tv. Ken just went to bed but I feel like it is time for my coffee. heehee I haven't pulled an all-nighter in a long time.

I was going to have a peaceful day but I ended up being busy. Isn't that the way it always happens? I got up and started cutting up all the ingredients for my soupish dish. Kielbasa, cabbage, onion, potato, green beans, and corn. Put it together with 3 cans of tomato sauce and a 1/2 cup of sugar. It really is pretty good. Ken liked it.

I went to my aunts to take her some and she and my cousin invited us to go out to eat with them. I came home to get Ken and he said he had already eaten a big bowl and was not hungry. He did not wait for me to eat. Oh well, I told him I was going and out the door, I went. We went to Bonbon's and I had one of those huge chicken wraps. Kenny and Sharon brought half theirs home but I sat there and ate the whole thing. It was nice just being with "the girls".

My aunt's new cat came and got on my lap. Gwen said she had not gone to anyone else. I guess cats like me. I had 7 at one time a long time ago. I'll enjoy hers. I definitely do not need an animal right now.

I should be sleepy but I'm not. I'll try but if I can't go to sleep I'm going to get my coffee.

When I got home, I made macaroons for the first time and they turned out amazing. I put chocolate chips in mine because Ken said he likes Almond Joy's. He was impressed with those too. I better stop impressing him because I don't want it to be a habit.

Hope everyone has a pleasant Monday. Sorry Sara, it will probably be a long day for you. I hope I'm wrong but that is how it used to be for me when I was going on vacation.

He technically still works for GS Steel and could go back to work tomorrow but it would be in another state. He has not worked at the Honda plant here since September, I think. He had started talking about going back to work when he broke his ribs. I personally do not want him to work. I should have found someone who was retired and wanted to do things like me but I did not. I am also asking him to help me get this house ready to sell and also take care of me if I have my tummy tuck. I am still contemplating having that done. After losing so much weight, I am self-conscious about my stomach.

I am still researching and I want to get a consult before I make my mind up.

    chicken nuggets and fries.
That sounds good to me. I had leftover whatever that was I made yesterday. Kind of kielbasa soup. Some things are better reheated and this was one of those things. It was good tonight.

I still have a few macaroons left but they were really good with my coffee this morning. Yum.

I see, I wondered how that was going to work for you two. He doesn’t sound like the retiring kind.

Anyway swinging by to say good night

Woot!!! Stay-cation is here and I’ve a mile long list to do. It absolutely was a long day yesterday  so much so I saw that I never stopped back in last night.

Love easy dinners, Dale. Chicken nugget’s definitely fit the bill. We are doing chicken wraps tonight with hot sauce and gouda and a salad.

Pooh to Ken for eating without you! But it worked out. Yay for girlie time with your Aunt and cousin. Oooh thinking about selling, do tell more lol

Coffee break over, time to get back to work. Hope everyone has a great day!

    Hiya everyone

Surgery went great it was only around 90 minutes. I am really liking the results I may be able to go back to work sooner than I thought. No crutches or walker, able to put full body weight on it moderately. pain level is tolerable so far.

Any left over cookies can be sent to me anytime  :drool:

Hope you all are doing well

    Good morning, Dale

Boy do I wish we had those temps. We’ve had so much rain/chilly temps this fall, we haven’t had a chance to put the patio away. I said next year, we are packing it up after Labor Day. I don’t care if the weekend are beautiful, we can sit on the concrete
LoLs I can’t sit on concrete for very long anymore.

Good morning. I've been searching for this forum a long time. Finally went to notifications and pick one of you. I sure miss my laptop but that's the only thing I miss from home.

I'm rocking on the deck with Duck River shining in front of me. It is so beautiful here. The stars are more visible the farther from the city I go. I want to live in the woods. Of course I git a bit scare last night because I heard things in the woods I've never heard. I'm in the second floor balcony but I didn't know if whatever it was could climb steps.

Had to go get Ken. He said it was probably a armadillo. I did see my first one last night. If it was, their rambunctious critters.

It is so peaceful sitting here with all the beautiful woods sounds.
Oooh thinking about selling, do tell more lol
It has always been my intention to sell everything in the house and move to another state. Tennessee is beautiful and Ken wants me to move here with hihim. I still have some pondering to do about that. I told him last night I never planned on marrying again but he just tells me not to say "never ".

It is going to rain today and that is OK with me. I worked pretty hard yesterday sweating in the 80 some degrees. The woman who is letting us stay in her house she rents to vacationers said the bushes out front needed cutting back and she can't find the time. Her husband needs full time care just about. I offered of course and I think they look good. My thumbs are telling me I should have keep my mouth shut but I never listen. ;)

This all the little print I can take this early. I'm going to go get another cup and enjoy the river and my large font book. Heehee
