I am back up again. Just the usual for me. I need to get up early and get to the gym because I want to come home and shower. I have a dental appointment this afternoon. I will be glad when it is over. It takes so long for the student to clean my teeth. The things I do to save money.

I stopped by Aldi's on the way home from the gym and decided I wanted a hamburger. That is one thing I have not fixed for Ken yet. I also made some potato salad, which he loved. The burgers were excellent because Ken cooked them on the grill. It is just hard to beat anything fixed on charcoal. I was the griller because my ex burnt everything he put on a grill. It is nice to have someone else do it.

Guess I will give it another try. Hope everyone has a good day.

For supper we had baked chicken breast, Alfredo noodles and seasoned baby potatoes.

Hello all. I was at the gym when it opened (as planned) and then came home and got ready for my dental cleaning. It was a good day until then. The last time I went, I needed a crown on my back tooth. The big one that costs so much so of course, I have not done it yet. Then today, I have a tooth that is broken and she thinks I will need a crown on that one also. I thought it was just a part of a filing but no, it's the tooth. Guess there is only one thing to do: get them fixed.

Looking on the bright side, when I got up to the counter, she said it would be $2.50. I told her I usually pay $5. She said oh you get a senior discount after 60. They owe me some money for the last 3 years because they never offered me one. But that was okay because when I told her I had not gotten my discount she said it was probably because I didn't look old enough to get a discount. YAY! That made me feel good. I am not going to complain about $2.50 or $5. They have saved me a lot of money over the years I have been going.

I ate the leftover hamburger for supper and potato salad but for some reason, it has upset my stomach. The way it is gurgling, I sure hope it is not a virus. More than likely it was just because I wolfed it down like a crazy woman. I have been running all day and I was starving. That oatmeal I had for breakfast did not last all day. I have never liked eating breakfast but I am trying to eat something before I go to the gym.

That’s great about the discount! I never liked eating breakfast either. But now I make a egg wrap with mushrooms and cheese. Sometimes I add spinach.

haha I'd much prefer donuts or cookies, especially if they are chocolate chip. And I always have coffee with a protein shake/powder mixed in over ice.

Good morning lurkers, how did I miss all the morning posts yesterday?!

Lost our power yesterday about 5 or 5:30, had a major storm with lots of hail. At first the power company said we’d have power by 6:30 , then they called and said it would be 10:30. Needless to say after hours of darkness and no internet I went to bed.

Planning to go see dad today if possible.

Does re-caulking the shower count? Oh and I cleaned my car windows and changed out my registration sticker. heehee. I had some downtime also and I didn't have to cook. The boys brought burgers and fries home for dinner.

Those things do count as work but since you can take your time and it’s for yourself I suppose it’s okay

Glad your fellows brought you food, always nice not to have to cook. I didn’t either, DH went and got Chinese.

My day was so-so, I did see dad but I was terribly sick to my stomach on the way . A coke helped settle it some.

It’s been a rainy day here and cooler than predicted.
