    Hiya Dale and lurkers

My 2 nights off start tonight, next week will be my actual weekend. We may be finished with production early this year. Crops for peas, corn and other veg have not given us high yields. To much rain in the spring then not enough rain during the summer. We have a lot of work during the off season this year. We need to do maintenance on almost everything, some machines are being completely replaced.

Hope you all have a great night

Good evening Joey  That’s not good about the low crops, prices are already out of control.

Hope you enjoy your time off!

Slept like the dead last night!
I honestly do not know how that feels. I hate that I am such a light sleeper. It makes me a little bit mad that Perry can go to sleep so fast. I'm talking 90 secs. I would love to be that way. I think when the light goes off, my brain goes in fifty-eleven directions. heehee

I have had a wonderful weekend. Still busy though. We went to hear Eric Gales at the Carolina Theater here. I had never been there and it was a beautiful place. A very talented guitarist. That is what I gave Perry for his birthday which was last Monday. He turned 66. I surprised him with the tickets because he just told me he was going to be there one night and he would like to see him. It was a good night.

Picked up a couple of rotisserie chickens at Samsclub. Made some delicious bone broth and have been eating chicken all weekend. You just cannot beat $4.98. I doubt I could make it that cheap or that good.

Hope everyone has a peaceful Sunday.

Oh, I forgot to tell you. I had my first disposable vape. On an impulse, I went into a vape store here. I bought a couple of flavors because they were on sale. One of the flavors Perry says he liked and it did not make him cough. I am keeping my fingers crossed that it will help him stop smoking. When I first met him he was taking Chantix and he had cut way back but as soon as he quit, he went right back to how it was before. I know vaping is the only thing that ever worked for me so I hope it helps him. With the cost of cigarettes alone is enough for be to be grateful that I quit.

I liked all the flavors. I used to mix when I first started but then it got to be more of a chore than a pleasure. I made mine menthol but then I just got so lazy I have been vaping unflavored. I might have to start mixing again. (I know you love to hear that Fran)

    Good morning ladies

Sorry you are feeling the fatigue, Dale. I hope it gets better for you.

Hope you had a nice couple of days off, Joey. Sad to hear about production but it will be nice to make the repairs and replace machines.

I'm an unflavored girl myself, Rat2. Fingers crossed it keeps Perry from smoking. I tried a bunch of things too and nothing worked but vaping. Problem now is, I think I'm addicted to that  Glad you guys had a good time at the show.

We worked a fundraiser yesterday. Sold 100 bags of popcorn. Slept like a rock and feel hungover today. Just putzing around and getting some laundry done.

Hope everyone has a great day!
