Good morning all.

It was a crazy trip. Before we even got started, while filling up with gas, I spilt his huge cup of Sprite not once, but twice. He said he knew the way to Charlottesville Va but when I turned on my GPS, it gave us a different direction. It ended up making the trip an hour longer. I did not think we would ever get there and Perry hates my GPS.

Had an expensive meal before the show. Perry wanted to taste this certain bourbon and it was $50 for what he calls a pour. Very small amount. He was paying so I did not care but there is no way I could have enjoyed something that cost that much.

Then we start to leave and a couple that we were talking to in the restaurant, told us our car tire look way low. It was. Went to the closest gas station and who knew that all gas stations did not offer air? Had to slowly go find another one. I remember when air was a quarter. Now it takes 8 of those. Sheesh! It may be a slow leak or just because of the weather change. I am not sure but it is staying inflated. I doubt I will drive it until he takes it somewhere to make sure. I could change a tire on the side of the street but I don't necessarily want to.

The concert was wonderful but on top of everything else, I had a sore throat. We got a room in a brand new hotel that was gorgeous. I did not even feel like taking a shower in the huge bathroom. That is sad. Now it is just a aggravating head cold. I am all stopped up. I can't complain because I cannot remember the last time I had a cold. I have tried to stay away from Perry but chances are he may get it. This too shall pass.

I cannot believe Thanksgiving is here already. Seems I saw the July 4th firework not that long ago. Time surely does fly. Hope everyone has a wonderful turkey day.

Just wondering how the dispo went over with Perry?
So glad you found us and please don't be a stranger.

Thank you so much for asking about my friend. I am quite pleased with his progress. Although he has not quit smoking all together, he is vaping more than he ever has. I found him several flavors to try. I am using the one he did not care for. He like the Raspberry Ice flavor. I enjoyed the peach and the apple. It has been fun for me because I had never tried disposables. They are pretty neat.

He forgot his vape this morning and turned around and came back to get it. That says something. I really hope this works for him. I hate to say this but I hate the smell of his cigarettes. That is pretty funny since I smoked for forty some years.

Good evening Rat2  I’m sorry to hear that you’re sick, hopefully it moves on quickly. That is great that Perry is liking the vape that much, disposable are all I use anymore, totally over messing with all that stuff.

I made bonbon’s today, haven’t made any in many years.

We just finished supper, grilled some deer backstrap that I marinated with a baked sweet potato and green beans.

Also picked up some bacon we had Randy make for us, we’ll probably have some of it later in the week.

Rat2, I hope you are feeling better.

Off to finish up a few things before my parents get here to start the turkey.

Good morning Sara  Happy Thanksgiving to you and your family.

We all feel like we could have done better but everything always works out as it’s meant to :)

We’re going to have a very laid back Thanksgiving, it’ll be restful :). I’m excited to see that new baby boy and hold him, first time since the day after he was born.

Good afternoon, Dale  Hope work wasn't too bad.

brrr! We are at 34 and I saw some flakes earlier today. South of us it getting hammered with snow. hope it stays there lol

Did you get a lot of snuggles with the baby? Laid back is the perfect holiday. We had a nice day.

Got the tree up, lights strung and waiting on the boys to put the ornaments on. Now I'm in my jammies with a hallmark movie on and I'm hoping to get some Christmas shopping done. We ordered pizza for dinner because I'm not cooking....the rest of the weekend

    Good evening Sara

Work pushed me hard today, I never did really get caught up and Rachel was late and didn’t get there until 11. Washing some clothes tonight so I won’t have so much piling up.
    Supper was subway sandwiches.

I did get some quality snuggle time with Lupin:) He’s so sweet and tiny! Tried to post a picture here but the file was too large, was me with DS and Lupin, it’s on fb but if I’m correct you don’t go there.

    Good morning Dale

No, I don't use fb. I bet it's a cute pic. Sorry work was rough.

Got our grocery shopping done this morning and picked up my Christmas stamps for my cards. Will work on those later.

Cold here but still no snow. Fingers crossed it stays that way a little while longer. lol

Hope everyone is having a great start to Saturday!

    Good morningish Dale

Absolutely. My inlaws have 2 feet. We supposedly won't see any accumulation til Tues-Wed and possibly 3-6 inches.

Glad you had yesterday off. I've turned into a lazy lump lol. I need to do some laundry, put the Christmas totes away, get my cards ready to mail tomorrow but I'm sitting here staring at the tv and thinking of a nap

Trust me I’m a lazy one too, eager for deer season to be over anytime now.

    I love the FB pics.
