Glad to hear everyone had a nice New Year's. Ours was quiet also. Looking forward to the weekend. We'll take down the last of the Christmas decorations. While I love it, I also look forward to having my house back in order

4 days gone off my mini vacation already
I have taken my tree down already, tonight for dinner I'm going to put a spiral cut ham on the smoker with mashed potatoes and corn for sides. Hope you all have a great day

haha definitely, although he was a little green around the gills when we reminded him it starts this week. He's nervous to drive with strangers in the car. Back in my day it was offered in the schools during the summer with your fellow classmates. Now we have to go through one of the community colleges for probably what an actual college course costs and kids you don't know. In NY you can't drive after 9pm until you are 18 unless you take driver's ed. Since he will be graduated from high school and either in college or working full time, he needs to be able to drive after 9 at 17.
Time off definitely goes fast, Joey Enjoy your days and your dinner sounds fab! Jealous your tree is already down. I'm procrastinating as usual under the guise of enjoying my coffee and seeing what you all are up to
It's very cold here and windy, some snow on the ground and I wasn't happy to leave this morning to go grocery shopping. Have a great day!

It’s freezing here high temp is going to be 21. I need to go to the store to grab a few things, not looking forward to freeze my but off
