The union and work gave us floating holidays for the fri after thanksgiving, xmas eve and new years eve. What we give up is the 4th of july and labor day, fair trade off.

Hot and humid here, had a gully washer this afternoon. DH got hailed on coming home from the north.

We processed a beef today that dressed out at 995 pounds, that was a big boy!

I’m sorry that happened to you, Retired. It definitely is a pita getting everything changed over. We just went through that here. Dh used our debit card for an online transaction and then it was hacked.

Sweet! 3 for 2. Although it’s sad you have to give up any, Joey. I’m glad you will get the 4th off and I hope your night goes quickly.

Wow, Dale. That is a lot of meat. Hope you didn’t have to cook when you got home.

Gonna be a long day, me thinks. Something’s got Lucy all riled up and she has disrupted my sleep 3 times. I gave up and am now listening to both her and DH snore.

Sorry work was boring Joey , I do know what you mean though. Sometimes I get caught up with the guys and have to wait for more to do … I usually end up doing their jobs lols.

I had no intention of cooking Sara, was going to make a sandwich but DH came in with McDonald’s so I ate that instead

Today was hard! I want my retirement back!

Pizza tonight, DH really needs to stop bringing so much takeout home. I’ve told him we can just eat sandwiches. SMH.

Lucky me I’m off tomorrow and can get the washing done.

I love pinto beans. Couldn’t sleep, too much to do today. Let’s hope the weather cooperates. It doesn’t sound too promising though. Windy and a heat index advisory goes into effect this afternoon.

The heat was terrible tonight, today will be worse with a high of 95f. Brings the plant temp to around 110f inside
