Good evening Dale and Joey

Ugh, sorry you are dealing with the hot temps in the factory, Joey. I remember those days and it’s definitely not pleasant. I was a sandblaster and had sand stuck everywhere when I got home at the end of the day

We got up to 94 today with a real feel of 105. Kiddo had a soccer game tonight and they would have played (heat index has to be under 96) but only 8 kids were going and that included the “goalie”. So they cancelled. You can’t play in these temps without a full team and no subs. We did that last week (same amount of kids, no heat) and our goalie was slide tackled in the crease. Broken nose that required surgery and he’ll be out the rest of the season. All so we didn’t forfeit the game. Club is to blame not the coach. They didn’t want to have to pay $150. Grrr!

But I’m relieved they cancelled this evening because I was dreading sitting on my .... watching

Wow Sara! That’s unreal for you guys! Glad they canceled the game, that would have been miserable.

Lols it’s crazy what they censor and what they don’t. Guess you could have said you dreaded sitting on your donkey

Good evening Dale. Hope this evening doesn’t find you too tired.

The b word gets me every time. I will have to try to remember donkey for next time lolz!

Sure am glad it’s Friday. But it will be another busy weekend preparing for our upcoming holiday cookout. Only 3 work days this coming week and then I have 5 off.

Hope you are having a relaxing evening.

    In your nightmares
    Good morning Dale and lurkers:wub:

I had a water pipe burst yesterday around 8:30 pm while trying to water the part of the lawn I just tilled up and reseeded. Home depot is open until 10pm here which was a life saver, went there to pick up a temporary clamp after searching for 45 minutes to find a solution. Doing a permanent fix will have to wait until my next days off either fri or sat. Being stressed out like that, had to shut the water main off to stop my basement from being flooded. Going to install a shutoff valve to each water line going to the outside spigots so I don't have to shut the main off again.

Hope you all have a great weekend

Good evening Joey. Gosh you sure are having pipe problems at your house, I’m sorry to hear it as I know a little about that.

Just finished cleaning up supper, we had chicken stir fry. Got a haircut today while DH and Bela did some shopping, then we headed to DQ for dip cones and after that got a car wash.

Hello to all. It has been a crazy couple of weeks. Poor Perry has been through the ringer, and I went with him.

He went to the doctor, and his heart rate was 43. They changed his water meds and added Monjora (the weight loss meds) and told him to come back in two weeks. He just was not feeling good. Went back to the doctor, and his heartbeat was 40. They told him not to worry about it because their machine was probably incorrect. He told them it had been running 40 at home and wanted them to recheck it. They did it with another machine and then did it manually. Sent him to the ER to have some other bloodwork done, and he was there for almost a week.

His heart is doing great now because they put in a pacemaker and defibrillator on Thursday, and he came home Friday. His shoulder is still quite sore, but his heart is strong and steady. I am his Uber for the next two weeks, and he is most upset because he can't mow for 6 weeks or ride his motorcycle. Sheesh! That would be the last of my worries.

I will admit that he will not be nominated for Patient of the Year. I truly believe some of his agitation was due to not smoking. They offered him a patch, but he declined. He says he is going to try to quit again. I think it is an excellent idea. He said he did not think vaping was good, and I should quit with him. I quickly told him I was not the one with a pacemaker. I have no desire to quit unless I start having heart issues. Even then, it will be my choice only. grrrr

The next hurdle will be his healing, and we have to see another specialist. They found out he had Cardiac Sarcoidosis. It is an autoimmune disease that forms scarring on his heart. When it rains. . . it pours. Looking on the bright side, he has one heck of a caregiver.

Anyway, I am glad to be back home and sleeping in my bed instead of a recliner. Going to be busy with doctor appointments the next few weeks, but I am going to try to find some time to post.

Brings the plant temp to around 110f inside

:( Especially for you in that plant Joey, that ought to be against the law!
That is definitely no kind of healthy work conditions. Bless your heart. I'd carry a spray bottle and have a fan hanging around my neck. Or maybe just a fan because I imagine you are sweating profusely. I hope it cools down for you.
