I did a silly thing a few weeks ago and pulled the trigger on the latest and greatest Samsung phone. Passed on my S24 Ultra to a family member who needed a new phone.

The S25 Ultra is nice, but it has some regressions that have me scratching my head at Samsung's thought process. One of the really nice things about the earlier models is you can use the S Pen as a remote shutter release for the camera. That has disappeared with the S25. And while I still use the S Pen for note taking periodically, I do miss the ability to use it with my camera.

This will probably be my last S series phone. Next one will be a Fold. Whether it's the "bi fold" or "tri fold" remains to be seen. Rumor has it they're releasing a tri fold model early next year. I'll most likely wait a year to see how it pans out and let them shake the bugs out of it.

Oh, that is awful. I loved that feature on my phone. Why would they take away something useful? I know why. . .to make room for more bloatware.

We had a busy day. Canned 30 jars of Crowder Peas and Speckled Limas. They are going to be good this winter. He wants to get some tomatos this week and can them for spaghetti sauce. I never thought I'd be this domesticated.

He loves doing it. I don't see anything wrong with store bought. They are not as good but they are soooooo much easier.

Went to the Moose last night and ate supper with 3 other couples. They had a great band there but it sure was loud. I love to watch people play instruments. I haven't had time to pick up my guitar or uke in a long time. I don't even read as much as I used to. We watch TV in bed where I used to read before I went to sleep. Oh well. It is what it is.

Hope everyone is having a nice weekend. It is going to be chilly here. I hope all the leaves fall so Perry can get them up. I hate dead leaves.

    Hugs to all.

    Good evening everyone

1st weekend off now that the schedule has officially changed

Making some changes to the way I prepare meals now. I did not really changed to the way I eat since I was diagnosed with type 2 diabetes 2 years ago. Over the last 2 months I have lost 35lbs, I weighed 295 before starting this diet now down to 260. I am hoping to get my weight down to 220 in the next year or so. I have really been on health kick lately, the kitchen smells awesome. Making a chuck roast in a beef bone broth with portabella mushrooms, red peppers, onions, garlic, thyme, rosemary, chives, basil, turmeric, cumin and black peppercorn.

Hope you all have a great weekend

Joey! I’m happy for you getting back to a more normal schedule. Sure sorry to hear about the diabetes though, I had no idea. :(

I absolutely forbid having a TV in the bedroom. I, too, read before falling asleep and I hate having a TV in the bedroom. Want to watch TV? Get up and go to the living room. But I'm not going to stand for the noise when all I want to do is sleep.

Thought I mentioned it a couple of years ago, I take a glp1 drug Mounjaro. Losing weight is the biggest thing for me right now. Eating right will bring my blood sugar down so maybe I can get off the drug.

Good morning retired, I wouldn’t stand for a tv in the bedroom either. Guess that’s what the spare room is for.

You may have Joey, sadly I have become very forgetful. :(

Love that you’re doing so well.
