It's going to take some getting used to with these school schedules. I keep looking at the weather for next week, thinking damn, the drive in is going to stink and then I remember I have the week off.
    Good morning retired. :)

You’re off the whole week for thanksgiving?! Wow.

One whole week for Thanksgiving, 2 weeks for Christmas, and another full week in March for Spring Break.

Yeah... I like working for a school district!

It looks like I'll have about a month and a half off this summer before we gather back up for our annual training in preparation for the new school year that starts in August.

Mornin'! Did a rare thing today. Actually slept in instead of getting up at o' dark thirty. Problem with that is my brain thinks I've wasted half the day already.
    Good afternoon retired. :)
I too slept in. Was the worst day possible for me to wake up late though, was still a little groggy when I got to church. Now the day is over half way done.

    Good evening :)

I’m definitely not a coffee connoisseur. I have one of these.

    IMG_6306.jpeg
I add whatever coffee grounds I have to the filter in the middle and fill with cold water. Leave it in the fridge for 12-24hrs. Remove the filter the next day. Then I fill a mason jar with ice and fill it 3/4 of the way with coffee and 1 pump of sugar free syrup (caramel or mocha) I froth 4oz of our local dairy farm’s skim milk with a scoop of unflavored protein powder to get a nice foamy concoction to add to the top. It helps to keep me away from Pepsi and to reach my protein goal for the day. I know it’s better to have protein from whole foods but it’s been keeping me on track so far. I also have a jar of cold brew instant coffee in the fridge (think it’s Nescafé) for when I don’t need a whole pitcher. I definitely taste a difference. Folgers is nicer. I need to grab some flavored coffee again.

Sorry for the lack of sleep happening with everyone. Sleeping in is great but I agree then it feels like the day is over.

Aww Joey, glad you were able to do a temporary fix.

Hope you are feeling better, Rat2.

    Enjoy the break, Retired.

I have this week off too. Spent the weekend cleaning and prepping for Thursday. We are supposed to host 12 for Thanksgiving. I say supposed to because there is talk of a winter storm coming. If the roads are bad then Dh’s side will stay home. Fingers crossed that doesn’t happen.
