Perry liked the tuna I fixed in the cast-iron pan, but I thought it lacked flavor. I marinated it in teriyaki sauce and thought it would turn out good. Oh well, I ate it because I was hungry, I had collards, seasoned little potatoes, salad with pickled beets, boiled eggs, and Texas Toast. I got full.

Where is the snow????? We are just getting sleet now. The weather has all changed. Whatever.

Hope everyone is staying warm.

There she is :)
Awwww, she is a cutie. I am glad to see a pic of her since you mentioned her from time to time. I still miss having dogs, but I still think it is best for me right now. One day, I am sure I will have another pet.

Looks like we got a couple of inches of something last night. Not sure if it's snow or sleet and I'm not about to go out and see what it is. Going to remote start the car later today to let it warm up and get the stuff melted off of it. No plans on going anywhere today or tomorrow but having all that stuff on the car bugs me. LOL

Good morning Fran. Sure don’t envy you. :(

DH bought me a car cover for Christmas so hopefully when this is over we can just slide it off.

Until you find there's so much ice/snow on it, it's too heavy to move.

It is cold here, and most of the ground is covered, but it is just sleet and fluffy stuff. I just pushed the stuff off my front porch with my shoe. No ice underneath.

Boy, did they miss it this time. They started us getting 14 inches, and then it kept decreasing. I think we have about 1.5 inches or mixed. That is okay with me. Just let me say there are only 55 days left til Spring!

good afternoon :)

Sorry you guys ended up with sleet. Fern is hitting us hard right now. I need to get out and do some shoveling but I’ve been busy in the kitchen meal prepping for the week. Made sauce for my overnight lasagna, which is done and in the fridge, kiddos afterschool lunch/snack and currently working on chicken cutlets.

We’ve had her for 7 1/2 years. She will be 9 in July. She’s currently sleeping with one eye open and staring at me, maybe even glaring. She was soundly sleeping until I accidentally startled her. I sat down in my chair and was looking out the window. All of a sudden she jumped up, hackles raised and was barking at me. Don’t think she expected to see me sitting quietly in the chair. Old age is definitely kicking in for her.

Off to finish those cutlets. Stay safe and warm!!

Yes, we got mostly sleet, thank goodness. We got out yesterday, and the roads were not bad, but that is because we were in Ken's 4-wheel drive truck. We went to Perry's son's because it was his granddaughter's 5th birthday. She loved the pink and purple butterfly dress and her tie-dyed socks kit. georgisBD5th.jpg

On the way home, we picked up $50 worth of Chinese food and had a oinkfest. It is Monday though, and I am back on my defluffing regimen.
