No moisture at all here, just freezing temps so far.
You win!

Why do people think 4 wheel drive is going to be awesome when the roads get nasty with ice? Does that same vehicle have 4 wheel drive brakes? And even then, the only thing that's going to save you in a slide is prayer. About the only thing that's going to help on icy roads is a freaking tank, and even then it's doubtful it's not going to slide around some.

Mornin' all..

Good morning everyone

We ended up with about a foot. They did not close so I called in. Roads are a mess. Kiddo has a snow day and even Dh’s office had everyone work remote.

Haha, Dale. Wish you could have seen her face. I don’t normally sit downstairs. Too cold or my chair is filled with Dh’s work stuff. Poor pup.

You are lucky, Joey, despite those temps. Fran is the storm hitting you today?

She is adorable, Rat2.

Made bacon and waffles for breakfast. Waiting on DH to get off his call so we can hopefully go clear some snow. He cleaned it up yesterday morning, put the snowblower away and closed the garage door but for some reason, the door didn’t stay closed. So guess what? Frozen when he went out in the afternoon to clear the driveway. Hopefully it’s thawed out now. I definitely don’t want to do the whole driveway by hand. It’s 14, real feel of 5.

Yeah, I remote started the car yesterday twice. Didn't budge anything off the windshield. It's pretty thick. Think I'm going to have to go out and start it normally so it runs longer than 5 minutes.
Saw a hack on social media, don’t know if it helps or not. Pull your visors down like you are blocking the sun when the car is running so it pushes the warm air back down the windshield instead of up and out. Could be total bs but can’t hurt. Lol

My visor lights already deflect some of that into the car.

Good morning retired, Joey and Sara.

Guess we’re all facing some challenges, looks like we’re going to be stuck all week as the temperatures are not expected to rise above freezing with nighttime showing-1 to 4. So a solid 3 or 4 inch blanket of ice out here where we live.
