i hear you... myself, i gave up on bottom feeders almost a year ago, which i got after dripping (messy) and trying carto's (which i didnt like) and went back to dripping with the regulated vv's... my favorite still is SR 901 at about 4.0 to 4.5v. I really have the hang of dripping now, and i use a needle bottle and pyrex d/t's... no leaking flooding etc.
But lately all the talk about how a carto will taste just right in a tank has me getting some to try too. With Buzz's ability to use LR, it's another thing to try too... but it has to be easy since i don't know carto's or tanks.
IMO, if the VVPV top feed (dripping) works good, there you go... the vape has got to be good with the Pro internal tech; guaranteed.
Still it'll be fun ( i hope) getting some tank action going too.
Rebuildable attys are coming out too... expensive but interesting...i hear that if the coil is thick, they can take lots of heat without burnt taste. I've tried one (iatty) but the draw was too airy for me... but there's others (and it was made for the GG which has draw control).
I just want consistent flavor. With enough fiddling I get that with CE2's which is why I got a CE2 tank. I have a GoGo and their cartos are good, but get gunked up with my 50/50 juices more quickly, especially dark ones. I also don't like having to flip it, but it's become second nature to flip before taking a hit now on my CE2's.
What would you recommend for someone who wants something close to atty dripping, but without the fuss of dripping every time or the mess? Is there anything that reaches that with tanks or close? I'm also not sure I like the taste of filler and burnt filler, which is why I'm going away from the GoGo. Too hard for me to know when it's dry, gunked up, or burnt because I can't see inside. That's why I'm going more for clearomizers and tanks right now.
I'm not sure what my perfect vape is. I think it might be the new VVPV if that thing can drip on a 510 atty or something similar without mess.
