It's all about choices and everybody has their own level as to when they give uo healthy actions over pleasure. Having been one of the people that put pleasure over health in my younger days I set my level pretty high to live healthier. That's why I vape in the first place. I also listen to my Drs. and they give me great input since I switched from smoking. But for me it doesn't stop there. I don't use excessive sodium, ect. and I don't vape at 12 watts and I don't vape LR attys and cartos on devices other than the 3.7 volt devices they were manufactured to be used on. I already explained why in my previous post. Those are the choices I made. That doesn't make me right and other people wrong it just means them are the choices I make.

Update on the M1. I started getting dry hits and I think drilling 2 holes may not work too well with my CE2's. I tried taking draws w/o firing to draw juice into the carto but wasn't helping. Thus, I think 2 holes may be the issue. So to salvage the carto, I cut the tube to fully expose the wicks to the liquid. It works perfect now but the trade off is tank stability. The bottom portion of the tank can move side to side easily but the top portion is stable. The fill screw holds the top in secure. I could probably put in a thicker O-ring in the bottom to alleviate the movement there. Which I plan to try as well as using only 1 hole on the next carto. Another option I'm considering is drilling another hole in the tank to put the extra thumbscrew down at the bottom to secure it better. I might try that if one hole doesn't work. Even with my current set up there is still no leaking with copious amounts of vapor. I just have to be cautious not wiggle the tank too much. I'm still at 4.5v with a 3.1ohm carto.

Yes, some people do. I'm trying my hardest not to though! I am down from 2+ packs per day to only 3 stinky's per day, so I am making an effort. It's all the hubby's fault, when he went camping for 4 days I was happy just vaping... didn't even think about smoking, but he keeps buying them. He is making an effort though.

Wow Jewels, you are far ahead of me in the healthy living I have gotten as far as cutting out most soda and drinking water! I have an occasional sprite, but the family drinks coke like it is needed to breath. Surprised the hubby still has teeth. I do have plans to follow in your foot steps after I stop the smoking 100% I'll go to the next step.

Not to go too far off topic, does anyone who has quit cigs completely ever move forward and stop vaping as well?

I'm sort of in the same boat. Hubby doesn't vape at all. He's tried it, but one of the little cigarette shaped RN4081's we bought at the mall. (way overpriced) I think if he had the right set up for him he would quit the cig's.

When I first purchased the RN4081's my intention was to stop smoking, and to give credit, the company does tout the "stepping down" with lower nic carts.
While I have lowered my nic level in the juices I buy, and I haven't had 1 cig since June 4th, I'm no longer "in a hurry" to quit completely. I know I'm still inhaling nicotine (and it isn't the nicotine that kills you), it's still healthier than cigs and I'm quite happy to take my time with different flavored juices.
I do still intend to quit, the hubby says I'm addicted to the liquids.
But as I posted in a different thread, I say I'm addicted to all the cool mods!

Just a quick update as I haven't posted in a while and ecf was down etc.

The tank has been working great. I did start having some really bad leaks from the carto however. It was leaking out of the hole on the battery thread hole. I just think it is a bum carto, so I am cleaning two cartos that fit to replace it. It ended up constantly flooding the carto due to the mealie carto. The tank fed it as much as it leaked lol, so that's good. ;)

i hear you... myself, i gave up on bottom feeders almost a year ago, which i got after dripping (messy) and trying carto's (which i didnt like) and went back to dripping with the regulated vv's... my favorite still is SR 901 at about 4.0 to 4.5v. I really have the hang of dripping now, and i use a needle bottle and pyrex d/t's... no leaking flooding etc.
But lately all the talk about how a carto will taste just right in a tank has me getting some to try too. With Buzz's ability to use LR, it's another thing to try too... but it has to be easy since i don't know carto's or tanks.
IMO, if the VVPV top feed (dripping) works good, there you go... the vape has got to be good with the Pro internal tech; guaranteed.
Still it'll be fun ( i hope) getting some tank action going too.
Rebuildable attys are coming out too... expensive but interesting...i hear that if the coil is thick, they can take lots of heat without burnt taste. I've tried one (iatty) but the draw was too airy for me... but there's others (and it was made for the GG which has draw control).

I just want consistent flavor. With enough fiddling I get that with CE2's which is why I got a CE2 tank. I have a GoGo and their cartos are good, but get gunked up with my 50/50 juices more quickly, especially dark ones. I also don't like having to flip it, but it's become second nature to flip before taking a hit now on my CE2's.

What would you recommend for someone who wants something close to atty dripping, but without the fuss of dripping every time or the mess? Is there anything that reaches that with tanks or close? I'm also not sure I like the taste of filler and burnt filler, which is why I'm going away from the GoGo. Too hard for me to know when it's dry, gunked up, or burnt because I can't see inside. That's why I'm going more for clearomizers and tanks right now.

I'm not sure what my perfect vape is. I think it might be the new VVPV if that thing can drip on a 510 atty or something similar without mess.

I am trying to get them made ASAP ! trust me

I know it is going to be worth the wait. With all the different tanks being released, it's hard to not order in hopes to of finding "the one". I have 1 out of 4 tanks that so far is working without a hitch and looks great on my BP (a lava tank), all my others leak.

These do NOT leak and stay put as well.

Nothing I hate worse than leaks. My Fusion/MAP tank I took off the PV yesterday and tossed it to someone to look at. They turned it upside down and every other direction but couldn't get it to leak anywhere. One thing about those tanks is they have to have no air leaks either. If you get an airleak in then it loses the vacuum so if there's a place for juice to come out it will.

These do NOT leak and stay put as well.
That's what I like to hear. Better than that though I'd like to hear "They're done".

I must be lucky (knock on wood) I have been using my Liquinators for a couple of months and never had any leaking from either one. I mostly use my slotted Fusions but if I'm lazy I'll use the slotted boge that comes with the tank.

Same here, except for the slotted Boge thing; slotted Fushions for me. I had a little slip-and-slide problem with Boges, but not at all with Fushions. And nary a leak in all the time I've used them--which is impressive considering I refill from the top, which means I'm sliding the bottom seal across the slots, which figure to be bristling with burrs and very abrasive. Hasn't caused a leak yet, but It must eventually, I suppose.

I smooth my Fusion slots with an emery board PI. I do like the Fusions better but I had to wait on some more SS ones. I was being lazy about removing the labels from the black ones
