Don't make the mistake of buying this, especially if you like LR.

Probaby won't be ordering any more for a bit, but what would you recommend. I have several 18650's now, but might need more in the future.

Finally got my 1.25ohm dual coils and now I am back in vapeing heaven. The 18650 last's a good long time. Not sure how long as I haven't run a battery down all the way before swapping it out for a fresh one but it still lasts over a day. The 14500 of course doesn't last as long with the 1.25. I'm not sure yet if I need to cary 1 or 2 spare batteries to make it all day as I have been using the 18650 more. The bigger batteries definitely preform a lot better with the high current draw of the 1.25.

The 18650 VV mod, thats the real thing. Thats what I´m waiting for.

Any update/progress?
I am working on my own prototype but I haven't gotten the parts and tools together that I need yet. =] I have two designs that I want to try. PWM and OKR.
It will probably be a couple of weeks before I get something usable together if that soon, I have a lot of stuff going on for work and also digging gardens for the wife. Maybe Romaniac will have something usable ahead of me =]

Would be very interesting to hear more from that prototype. I´m not a modder, just reach to know what PWM is. But then OKR, no idea what that could be.

Haha, somebody to offer a nice looking, good working, no "10 times push the bottun", VV unit, capable to work with 1.5 Ohm stuff, and at a reasonable price tag. Thats where many people, and I are looking for.

Here is the work i have done with the OKR. Be very careful, if you read these threads you may become a modder!!!

Its a horrible debilitating disease..........Avoid it at all cost......

I was a modder before I even got my first kit without even knowing it.... I have this need to Tim Allen anything I lay may hands on. "Grunt... Grunt..."

These 18650 NoEgos have a lot of potential as they have a good amount of room in their switch body. And the good looks of them is a great bonus. We might need to get Romaniac to sell the switch body un-assembled for those of us that just have to tinker...

Thats sounds like some familiar last words....
LMAO! Hear that.

Yeah I know the feeling. Ive got so many projects going at the moment I dont know what Im doing half the time. Making mods for friends, Experimenting, trying new chips..... BUT im not smoking and its been fun for sure :)

As far as romaniac's switches, theres a ton of room in there. Definitely some potential. I like the OKR design. Did you work out the low batt cutoff?

Yes they look good, and I love the modular design, so people like me who can´t repair it themself, and live in Europe, and have everything to send to America, and then have sended it back again, just could get a new module and carry on.

Did you work out the low batt cutoff?

Yea, you just use a zener diode and resistor in the circuit. I haven't implemented it yet because I haven't place a new DigiKey order yet. So I can't say for positive that it will work but I don't see any reason it won't. It's sound design from a knowledgeable modder. I can't remember if it's posted in the OKR thread or the low voltage cutoff thread but it's out there.

Just to stay on topic. These NoEgo's are great =] Thanks Romaniac...

Any reason not to use high-drain IMR 18650's in the NoEgo?

No i am using aw imr 18650's i have for my provari's bought this for my dc cartos that the ohms have went real low on.Also to have one simple device for the times i don't want my costly devices getting damaged. So far received today this is light weight battery weighs more, works great with the dc cartos and 18650 imr.

I would love if you allow me to order some of those parts for you. I am obviously interested in the outcome!

The problem isn't the order =] It's getting the wife to let me have the spare time to play. We have been in our new house less than a year so this spring has been one continuous HoneyDew list. Gardens, light fixtures, shelves, picture hanging, furniture re-arranging, and this list goes on and on. =] She works afternoons next week so I will hopefully have some time to get back to playing. It's about the only time she leaves me alone.

Sorry for the delay i was not aware that you had contacted me with any questions.
1. I yes it [i.e., the 14500 NoEgo referenced in Dalton63841's post] is regulated at 3.7
2. ego is 14mm diameter Noego 17 mm
I am surprised (and disappointed) to see that the NoEgo is regulated like that.

The reason for the surprise: I've had the impression that your NoEgos are your branding of the Smok Tech E-Power. According to pbusardo's video review of the E-Power – with batteries fresh off the charger – it measures 4.2V (which is what one would expect from a non-regulated 14500, 14650, or 18650 battery). Also, two people in this thread have recommended using the NoEgo with high-drain IMR batteries. Would that even be relevant in a regulated 3.7V device?

My disappointment comes from the fact that what I like best about high-mAh batteries is that they hold the higher voltage far longer than low-mAh batts. [Since I am pretty much a stay-at-home guy, the length of time between charges doesn't matter all that much.] And, since I already have 18650 batts and charger, I like the fact that yours is available without them for such a low price ... and, of course, looks so nice.

Does that 3.7V regulation also apply to the 18650 version?
