That is the best, most professional review I've ever seen! Make me want to buy another Phidias!!

Thanks for the kind words Pete. I really like what you're doing with the "Woody Autofeed". If I were a bit more confident in my ability to drill the thing out and not screw it up, I would try that myself....but its outstanding work.

The Phidias Woodimus

Love the new woods. I have to say I love my Phidias Woodimus to death, and it's my main go to PV. I take it almost everywhere. and have dropped it many times. Scars seem to fade away after a while, but with something like my Silver Bullet a scratch will look ugly forever.

I do use my SB tho when I need something I'm not scared of messing up. Yet, that and pocket friendly. I put my Phidas in my pocket all the time, but it can go off depending on what I'm doing. I've thought about removing the button from the SB, and putting it in the Woodimus :p I bet I would need to make the switch hole a little bigger(which has stopped me from doing it)

Yeah I have to say I dont pocket this much unless I have a loose pocketed shirt on and Im going somewhere that I want to show it off, but its my main vape with the Low resistance products that are out now....I have been favoring the 306 Low Res. attys because Ive been getting so much more use out of them...Plus they are very low profile.....

Regards,

Of course the idea behind the storage area was so you could remove the atty AND have a secure place to put it...

In reality this might be too much effort for average vaper (I'm lazy too) so I'd suggest you just unscrew your atty 1/2 a turn, check for a disconnect by pushing the button and listening....

you're not fail safe of course, but clearly better off for the minimal effort involved.

It's something I'd suggest you do no matter the mod---it's no more effort than flipping a switch---I must point out, taking the atty off and storing it is indeed the ultimate solution; safer than any switch.

In my mind switches can get flipped, if buttons can get depressed and things that can go wrong mostly do (thanks for nothing Murphy's law)

Bottom line? taking the atty off is the only sure way to keep it from firring up in you pocket or purse---and Yeah that's what the space is for.

PS. If buttons can get pushed switches can get flipped and having a false sense of security is the most dangerous of conditions---yeah, alarming true enough...

The Phidias is the only PV that offers a dedicated storage space for the truly safety conscious vaper.

right? right-on!!
Best Regards

I had purchased another "wood" mod but sold it after one week. It felt large and clunky compared to my Woody. There's just something about the way the Phidias fits in your hand that makes you want to pick it up and vape. The beveled edges make it feel much smaller in the hand than what it actually is. Rarely does a PV feel and work as well, after several months, as it did when you first got it. I've sold off all my other PV's except my Woody and one other that fulfills a different need. Drew and fono, you guys really hit a grand slam with this PV!

O' I'm pleased alright, no doubt about it...

If you look at the profile of the Phidias' lid you'll see the "stepped" design of the lid/chassis interface...

This extra meat allowed me to have that generous chamfer which results in a much smaller, more comfy feel.

Hey, a Golden Section is not said to have "Divine Proportions" for nothing...wink!!!

Thanks Pete

WoW Pete ya sold it already. yeh i figured it wouldnt compare to the Phidius.
I too love my Phidius. so many other wood mods coming out but the Phidius stands out way above them. Fono i know you heard me say how much i loved what you made but i will say it again beautiful wood design and so well made and perfect fit. i am afraid to take mine out and about but use it in my home every day. i love this bad boy. Well done to Fono and Drew.

Quick update on my Phidias Juicer. I was bored so I added a plunger so that it is activated without opening the box.

Hey everyone, sorry I've been out of the loop for a bit, had to fly out to the Boston area for a funeral and stayed for a bit to see some family.

Traveling kind of opened my eyes to something and I think I need to consolidate my puffers into one do-it-all device. The more I look a the 'woody' the more I think it could be the one. I use the XShaler for LR attys, the Xhaler for two 16340's and a HR atty, a Tornado for when I am out, and a bartleby for 510 cartos. This means I am constantly carrying around a mix of batteries and chargers, adaptors, atomizers, juice etc. Looks like the woody can do all this and might make things easier for me. Plus now seeing a juice box type mod where I could easily load my main Octane Signature is pretty damn cool. Those of you who have the woody talk me into this....

Drew - I assume no shipping until Tuesday? Running a bit low on a few things...:D

Cos,

Nice job on that, I recieved my Phidilas just this past week, I got the Birdseye maple one and dam with an AW 18650 & a LR510 this little box really kicks some serious .... I had my doubts on this Mod but wow is it great. I would love to have my fitting swaped out though with one of the bottom auto feed fittings and turn this into a juice box it would hold a good size bottle, but I think im gonna wait a bit and see what the Drew man gets in Next, I have a feeling he's gonna put it out and i'll buy a second one. Also the new Tekkeon looks awsome as well with the adjustable voltage
