L:eek:oks to be the same color of red as the battery is:p

Not that I wouldn't sport a hot pink carto:) I would I would. As someone else has said on this. This button gives the mod a little more class looks wise. I'm thinking I'm going to have to agree.

Naw it wasn't any troble. The switch is a little larger than the original. So you have to bore it out a little bit(I just used a knife), and slide it in.

It looks good on it, but if I had the tools I could set the edges of the switch flush with the phidias. Yet, I don't know if it would look better than it does this way.

Hope you fall in love with it as many of us have!

Also, Fono you should put this switch in the Phidias as a standard! I can't say how much more love I have gain for it now:p

I also now want to see if a booster chip might fit inside

Thanks for the kind words DaMulta...

That does look pretty cool,

I do have an SB collecting dust here (No dis on Chad he does a beautiful job on his units) but I'm not really sure how to get the switch out of it?

A few pointers would be helpful...

That's a 19mm switch in a 12mm space I'll definitely see what I can do about accommodating it.

Both switches are by the same folks and share the same specs, my only concern is it may limit the size of my side bevel---a feature I really feel is important.

skype me sometime and you can educate me on the SB retro-fit thing.

Nice job
best regards
fo

PS. the chip does fit--- and even fits over/on top of the button behind the connector and still allows space enough for the 3 ml. bottle storage

I have #9 the Birdseye maple Phidilas and love this unit. Today I recieved my order of the new Jot Mega Cartomizer and put a 510-901/510 adapter on my phidilas and im running these new Cartos that hold 2.5 ml's of liquid, dam this thing kicks ... and now holds me a days worth of fluid.

Ah, the Birdseye is one of my favorites...glad it's doing it for you..

I need to get one of those fat boy cartos and see what's up with them.

Right-on...

Damulta--Guess I've got an extra tight one, I'll keep at it though.
Thanks

Just checked and my Woody is in Denver, it will be here this afternoon. I love new toy day.

Damulta - Just curious, why would you want to put a booster chip in the PW? Can't the same results be achieved by using a combo of RCR123a's / 16340's and HR atty's to get to 5 or 6v approximately (same wattage essentially)?

DM - I like it a lot. It is very well made and the craftmanship is excellent and the lace wood grain is stunning - it changes color/character in different lighting which is really cool. The size of it is a bit larger than I expected, but it fits really well in my hand and the button placement is pretty well done so no complaints. This is my first mod with an 18650 and I am really impressed with this battery, it is amazing how long it lasts. It does seem pretty strong at first but is perfect as it wears down just a bit, I've tried cartos, LR 306, LR 801 & 510's so far and they all work great. I also like using two 16340's with a HR 510 as well, matches the xhaler pretty well.

Initial impression is really nice, I wanted a device that can match all the ways I vape plus a larger battery and the Phidias does it well. Can't wait to show it off.

Is there a recommended polish / cleaner to use on this for occasional cleaning? I know they are finished with Tung oil, don't want to mess that up. Also, my switch feels like it has two detents, one about halfway then all the way...is this a feature of the switch or does it just need to be broken in? Thx!
