I really think a p+16 version of the tank/atty top cap replacement option should be considered in the future. I, for one, would definitely pick one up. It would make for a very nice vape in a small package.

I would just be happy to get my hands on a P+16...lol Its all about the compact size, I think the atty/tank combo would take away from that.... I will leave that for my big mods....

The universal fit version will :)

 Thats good news...

Bought a P+ 18, then a couple of high end mods from a differnt vendor, that was an easy decision as they only had 2 choices...
SuperT you are killing me, Im having a hard time on deciding what to do?
Shockwave or Simplicity... Shockwave wins out, but this Strata thing has me wondering
what to do? Wait for the Strata to be released and possibly miss out on the Shockwave like I did on a P+16..
Or do I just press the place order button on the cart I have setup which includes a Shockwave.
One concern I have is the 26500 battery size to be able to Kick the Shockwave... SuperT does not have them for sale on their website... Are 26500 batteries that hard to get in a high quality version?....

While I agree that the compact size is the most appealing feature of the P+16, I disagree that a smaller version tank/atty combo that replaces the top cap would take away from its form factor. With a ~2-3ml tank, it would be the perfect small rebuildable to use in those situations where you want incredible performance in a small, sleek PV. I was reluctant to top my P+16 with a Lavatank for that very reason, I thought it would defeat the purpose of how small the PV is. However, I grew to like the size very much, and the tank would last through 2-3 battery cycles. I really hope this idea is at least considered by David. However, if not, I will need to get a P+18350 stat!

I guess (heh) you could say I like Super-T models as much as the next guy but I don't see myself as being in some sort of club. I know for a fact that they don't appeal to other people for various reasons and that's OK. What bothers me is that when hype or "club" mentality sets in it tends to create an artificial value to something which is essentially just a metal tube.
I believe everybody should have a Super-T mod at least once so they can appreciate its beauty, performance, and get a feel for whether it suits them. Many people wouldn't be able to do that if getting a second-hand one cost them $400 just because of hype or some imaginary exclusiveness concocted by fanatics. That's dumb. Also, David sets the price as he sees fit in order to be profitable, he and his company did the work and it irritates the heck out me seeing people profit off of other people's work due to a "must have this in order to be elite" hysteria.
Do I want a Strata? More than you can imagine. Does a part of me feel entitled to one since I've plunked down mucho dinero to buy (from Super-T) a bunch of PrecisePluses? You betcha. But I'm prepared to fight through the swarm to get one because that's how I believe it should be and if I fail there's no way in hell I'd let someone take advantage of and profit from *my* fanatacism after the fact.
I just won't fail. :D

I knew I liked your style the minute I read your post # 157 regarding Bass's post.. ;)

You came to the right place.

The universal fit version will :)

Came to that realization last night as well, just worried about a 510 connection being the only thing holding that tank/atty on to that beast shockwave. I have never.owned a tank system, but i guess the materials are strong enough to handle it. At least Super T's will be, that I am sure of.

Now the only question in my mind is, do i get a Strata first, or the shockwave and universal tank/ atty??? Guess I will just have to wait and see which one comes out first.

I am quite certain tha David said the strata will be released first and then the universal will be later, but the shockwave will be before that. Your question is a tough one but I can tell you one thing, nobody here is gonna convince you not to buy. From what it sounds like from your previous posts, you might only be happy with a 26 series mod so my suggestion is the shockwave or simplicity and wait for the add-on but that could just be me trying to get rid of one more of the competition ;)

I say go for an 18350, its about the same length and only 2mm wider and I like the aw imr 18350 battery better than the same in 16340 but that is my opinion.

Are people seeing the P+ in the classies at all? Should I be stalking over there for an 18500 or 18350. Just curious. They seem very hard to find.

Thanks,

Chris
A bunch of people (at least 3) sold 18500s recently, right in a row. One was a real deal, the other two about retail.

Hi Rox,
What will you vape the Strata on if you don't grab a P+ first? I thought we needed one to put the Strata on when we get one.

Thanks,

Chris

I am gonna take a month vacation from work when I find out that the Damascus and Ti editions are coming out because I can not lose out on those!! That was a joke obviously because there is no way I could afford them if I wasn't working :)

I think you are a bit confused about this, the strata is an entire pv, it will include the entire mod not just the tank, it will be just like a precise except it will not have the same top cap, instead it will have the rebuildable tank. The tank from the strata will be able to screw onto any 18series precise or p+. The only difference between the body and switch is that there is some knurling on the tube, other than that it is just like the bottom portion of a P+.

Nothing personal but I hate people like you, the land of broadband and satellite is a slow place to dwell!!! :grr::grr::grr::laugh:

Very interesting, David......:thumb:

The one second may have had something to do with my blazing 7 mbps DSL line, but the one penny was the result of superior psychological warfare tactics.
