I prefer 30awg Kanthal on my KFL, wrapped around a roughly 2mm form.
I think the Russian and some of the clones actually have holes on the side of the deck that you can put the wire through to trap it. May be easier?
Hi all. The sport of the day is .... diving. I am off the coast of St. Thomas right now and they have a nice spot of coral named after the fur covered creatures that inhabit these lands.

I actually had one I bought at a local vape shop. Dude who sold it to me said it was a Kayfun, but it has more of a Russian look to me. Didn't really know the difference at the time. It had been set aside. But it does have those type of screw capture. So, trying it now.![]()

I miss something?
ECF blocks out the bad words if you type it and it shows up then you can use it.
If it upsets *crybaby people then post this link under it Disney.com | The official home for all things Disney
Only thing I can think of would be the diameter of the wire your using. I'm not an expert or even intermediate on the whys of coil building! Which is why I screen shotted Kiwi!. I got my drill bits at tractor supply, two in a pack for a little under $3
It's only 28 and PBusardo uses 9 wraps to build a 1.3 ohm in his video. I'm just a klutz but it looks like I'm going to have to try with a drill bit. Wish I still had my old multi-meter. All of mine are at school and they're really, really cheap. Not sure they'd even be accurate at those ranges. Most electronics (not electrical, which is what we're doing here) is far higher resistance.
Knew I should have paid more attention in my power class!
My Russian has a screw on the bottom of it, not on the side like my Kayfun's do
Okay, I guess. I don't think that applies to my post though because these noble creature's pelts are used for earmuffs. That's where the name came from so I am safe
