Thanks for the information and help. Lots of reading to do before I will be able to use it. Hubby said "NO" to unprotected batteries when I first started talking about mods and such. I will have to convince him I know what I am doing before I break this out....:)

The regulation and protection is built into the mod. And really, a ProVari is super simple to use.

Looks likek you're getting all the "how to use your ProVari" info.
But is the Bella Tank totally new for you? What kind of device were you using before?
Are you coming from a completely different type of juice-delivery, and need help with the tank too?

Your setup looks great!!

Hello, I just purchased a provari mini and bella tank last evening. Can someone help direct me to the best place to research using them?{newbie alert} I will be in need of a charger, any type preferred over another? Safety is more important than price to me. If this is the wrong thread please excuse me.

hey hey Keepsmiling. not sure which thread I saw you in but we have talked before. welcome to the club. I am new here to everyone here is awesome. super helpful they all have their on super powers but together they make an amazing and pretty funny team.

being honest, check those vids and buy what is recommended for your Provari. you didn't spend that kind of money to fall short where it counts. AW batteries is where its at. we just talked about this yesterday.

hey I am no genius if anyone has time could you look at this 4 page thread and see if I was wrong, or out of line please http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/fo...2660-adjustable-airflow-tanks-any-good-3.html

That is good to know, thanks. At least the battery isn't actually 'visible' while it is in use, so I think I can get away with it without too much fuss from the SO. I really wanted a woodvil, but I think that would be pushing it. I purchased some bags used for charging batteries. Do you or does anyone know if I can slide the charger and battery into that while I am charging them? I think that would help hubby feel better about all of this.

Thank you.Yes, the bella was something I wanted to try also, as I have been looking at that thread for a few days. I got a response on the 'show your bella' thread, but I will have to re-read it to understand what was said. If you can share info or a link on that it is much appreciated. In just a few weeks I have gone from cheap garbage batteries and pro-tankII's to aerotank mini, to spinner VV batteries, to an MVP 2.0, a larger aerotank, and have a Innokin VV v3 on the way, as well as the new aspire mini. And now this...
I really need to put an end to my spending. That banner below has some catching up to do before it gets to what I have already spent...

Thanks for the welcome and info. Lots to know in this hobby, and different folks with different strokes. Everyone has really been great since I have been here. I have only had one snarky comment tossed at me. In a place this big that is to be expected occasionally...I know this from big forums like reef central...

My husband's aunt's birthday is also today. She's 91. So, I'm very used to giving up the spotlight to someone else as soon as the actual day of said bday is over. :)

When I switched from Ego Twists to a ProVari, the whole battery thing freaked me out too. But they are perfectly safe as long as you use them correctly.

Buy AWs for the ProVari, and the best charger you can afford.
Don't leave your charger unattended while charging.
The ProVari will shut off at the level it is safe to drain your battery to.
Ego batteries have more of a history of exploding due to improper use.
Always keep your batteries in a plastic battery box. Most vendors carry them.
Don't put loose batteries in your pocket (or purse if applicable) with keys or coins. Contact with other metal will complete the circuit and the battery will vent.

keepsmiling - Welcome to the ranks! Yes you can put the charger and battery into the bag for charging. I use the batteries and charger purchased from ProVape and have not experienced any problems. Not at all familiar with the tank you got, so, sorry, can't help you there.

I see you are also in Florida. Just an FYI, having a vape meet in Daytona in October with 20 vendors (at least). If you are close by you should stop by and check it out... information available in link:

Many of us buy them from ProVape. They have the Pila charger. Or RTD:

Authentic AW Batteries - RTD Vapor

Button-top batteries are what you need. 18350 for the mini, and 18490 for the extended endcap. It is a good idea to get 2 of each, so you have one while you are charging the other one.
I think it is probably best to buy new batteries and a good charger. I have looked at the provape site. They seem to have everything I need. Thanks for your help.

Hello and Welcome to the Saloon :)

Congrats on your New ProVari :toast:

I get my batteries either off ProVape E-Cigarettes: Buy Electronic Cigarettes & Vapor Smokeless Cigs or Batteries - RTD vapor
I only use AW batteries in my ProVari's.

I too have a Intellicharger i4, got it off Amazon.

Oh my...that is close. Hubby might think I have fallen into a void if I went to a swap meet..we'll see.:D But thanks for that and the info and welcome.
I just hope this works correctly. Not sure why I got stuck on that particular one..I saw I could have purchased them new for not much more or the same price, but it just kept calling to me..haha:laugh:

I have also had a Bella, and used carto tanks for a long time.

Another of baditude's blogs:

http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/fo...-5-baditudes-cartomizer-tank-setup-guide.html

My honest opinion on the Bella is that if you chain vape it is not a good choice. It has to do with how the top cap is designed. But many people do like them. I know of a video on filling that type of carto tank. The problem I was having was flooding out the carto. The method of filling it the video below helps a lot.

ETA: This video is on the Fluid Flask, but it has a similar design to the Bella. The part I am referring to starts at about 14:00:

You talking about the stand to build coils on? If so. It just makes it easier Instead of having to hold the wire and wrap neatly. Which can be difficult to someone with big or fat fingers. I have used one. And they work great. It's whatever or however you are comfortable doing it tho. I was thinking about making myself
One for the house. Being able to tighten the wore down and work more precisely is what it is about

I have twisted hemp for many years. Where I got
My screen name from. And when I started I made a hemp
Jig then. I can twist a 20 inch hemp
Necklace in about 15-20 minutes

with this guy

end result

Same thing as that jig. Precision and speed is what a jig is about

So I have
2X AW 18350 batteries
2 X AW 18490 batteries
1 X Pila 4 stage charger
2 X Battery storage box
1X Noalox lubricant
in my cart...is that all I need?

I think you got it all. You can pick up 91% or 99% alcohol at most drug stores and I use regular q-tips to clean mine...

Do I really need both types of batteries? Can you tell me the difference? I have an absolute ton of good alcohol...hubby had me buy it last winter for some trucks and we never used it. I think I bought all walgreens had that day..lol.

The 18350's are for a mini size provari.
18490's are for the standard size provari or mini with extension.
- and congrats on your first provari!
