I don't remember when, or where I said it...but I had an epiphany (not really) of change of perspective on the P3...

Try not to think of it as a Provari v3.0, but rather the Provari v1.0 of the next generation of Provape mods...
It's obviously an improvement on the previous models, in some ways, and simply a change in other ways...
But, with this model, I'd say they might be laying the groundwork for the next wave of tech...
So, for all the ways you might feel the P3 falls short, just think of those things as the new starting point, of the next generation...

I said a long while back that it should be called the ProVape 3 (as their 3rd product offering), so people wouldn't compare it to the ProVari.

But they should associate it with the Provari...but as the new standard, which will undoubtedly evolve...
Ugh, I hate to say this, but it's like the iPhone...after the iPhone 4 came out, the squared design stuck around to the next generation, and will more than likely continue to do so...along with other features that have evolved from the 4S and 5, 5S, and 5C...
Android and Windows phones have all done the same! They reach a "breakthrough" point, and introduce a very new thing, and continue to build off of that model, leaving previous models in the past.

Maybe if they called it the "Pro-Thingy". Or perhaps "The ProVape Badonkadonk". Or "Shirley".

Nah - even then, it's gonna get compared to a ProVari, and compared to anything within $100 in price, for that matter...

its funny... you can't please all the people all the time.
the new P3 is why i stepped outside of provari for my last purchase.

for me it was the logo... some love it, i hate it. it should have been the provarinati eye... that would have been awesome.
or something neat like that. and the price tag.. and to be honest.. provari has some of the worst color selection.. that emerald green was beautiful and i just new purple would follow. it never did. all the other colors are just horrible imo.


i'm moving on to mech mods now and enjoying the designs and workmanship of those mods.
i reckon i'll always have at east one provari with my dripper pro. the dripper pro is the only dripper i can use with success and since it was made for provari, i kinda feel obligated to use it on the provari... although right now it's on my gppaps clone lol.
i'm debating keeping the other provari with the ibtank, sophia and proring. only because i enjoy the seemless look

i don't see any more provari's in my future.
and i don't really see the need to recommend them any more.i wish they would change the top cop of the old provari too something like the top cap of the stingray.
it just really makes for a seemless look with out buying beauty rings that are a mega pain in the but to deal with.

i'm not doubting that the P3 is a good device.
who knows, maybe if they made a limited edition with the all seeing eye... i might have to snag one up.
the bottom cap was a good idea... but for me.. my thoughts were, no one sees the bottom of your provari.

Your Stingray is so pretty! I love the silver and copper! I agree on the P3 as well, I'm sure it's awesome, it's a Provari! It's just not for me.

The thing is, I was not happy with was the fact that this particular B&M was one that I've sent tons of people too. I was a good customer. I have personally referred at least 30 people to them and given out at least 100 of their business cards, I keep in my purse. I'm a bit upset with the entire B&M market in my city... Here it's like I've got the best vape shop... Bla Bla Bla... It's kind of like a bunch of sharks feeding around here. I'm a bit board with it...

I'm not looking to buy a P3, personally. I've even told by another local dealer that he would buy a beta for me if I wanted it. I told him thank you for the offer, I'm not interested, I love the 3 Provari's I own. A 2.5 stealth would be one I would buy in a heartbeat and not bat an eye!

Meanwhile... I seen a Reo in the classies... Oh well not this time...

Well, it certainly seems the Dragon did VERY well for them - and the P3 sure seems like it will lend itself well to "Special Editions" -we know (from the custom endcap thread) that they've got new engraving machinery - it should be relatively easy to release P3's with new designs on them...

it will only get better as new versions come out.

Those dragons are very cool looking, my Sissy has one.
Purple and even a pink metallic would have been an awesome colors, if they looked like the bronze and emerald ones.

I can't believe the Stealth full size 2.0 (just like mine) is still sitting in the classies for $150.00.

I ALMOST pulled the trigger on that yesterday... I was looking for (And found!) a Mini though, not another full size... I'm kinda partial to my Red ProVari, especially since it really was a Limited Edition, like they said it was gonna be Always been kinda curious about that, why the limited run on reds... It seems like a lot of the colors have turned out to be "limited editions." Blue is gone; pink is gone; bronze minis haven't been listed for awhile, but there are still bronze f/s, so maybe they aren't gone.

True... But Red was called a limited edition right from the start... Blue and Pink got discontinued... You know, for being ugly... LoL I'm kidding, of course, taste in color is subjective... But I never liked those...

I did like the purple, that is gone now too... :/

All of the discontinued colors seem to have made a reprise as hybrid colors now
