I was really surprised to find that I didn't like the new shiny zencoates, I thought for sure I would be all over them, I have the stainless steel and the dragon and I hardly use them and when I do I polish constantly, maybe I need to get some clear wraps like Stormy has.

My first mod was the iTaste VTR which is really nice looking after polishing .. not so much otherwise. I had this in mind when I ordered the ProVari and I'm not sorry I opted for a mat finish. Actually I'm thrilled with it.

My first one coming of Ego's was a blue Vari V2 I bought from the President of VaporForce it still has the lines instead of the crop circles and I like the lines better, it still looks brand new and I have never seen another blue one like that. Two was my satin silver mini I use it daily and it has held up great not a mark on it and that one was used also and I plan one adding the bronze to the dailies.

I don't abuse my gear and exept for a sticky button on the brand new emerald I never had a problem with any of them.

The only one I ever traded away was a polished ss. It was too shiny. It wasn't even the fingerprints, it just seemed glaring. I tend to rotate the minis, although I've been using the Black Knight (my only full size) since I have a 1.3Ω coil and it's gobbling up the little batteries.

How did you manage to get a 1.3Ω coil to work, I had one the other day and got an error until I ripped it out and rebuild, or is that another magic of the Rüzgar. :)

ProVari can fire 1.3...
You do have to lower the voltage to UNDER 3.9, and it should be OK.
If it didn't fire either you had the volts too high, or it could be something ELSE - like not making a connection (a couple times I've had to re-adjust the pin on the bottom of my russians to connect after I rebuilt it).

Oh wait - were you using a 2.0 or older?
that might not fire a 1.3...

I was being an idiot and in a hurry and didn't check, most likely I had it set to high.I cna only rebuild in the morning, its nice and quiet then.
I had already wrestled a new coil on one of the Kayfuns and this was a build for the Nautilus, couldn't get that thing to fire on the ProVari for the life of me but it worked great on the Bobo.
