Two words.
P O O L N O O D L E
edit - LOL. I typed that with a big space in the middle so it was "two words". ECF smoooshed it together, but now I like my post more.
Oz, I really like that single top right holderWhat wood is that? Did you turn those?
That was my theory too, for a minute, until I looked at them side-by-side again. Even turned off the digits are larger. I think magnification would kick in when it was lit. And, at least on mine, the screen is a tiny bit bigger.

Negative.
If the lens does have a magnifying effect, it wouldn't be limited to when the LEDs are on...think about it like a thick set of eyeglasses...they don't have LEDs behind them, but people's eyes look different behind them...
EDIT: sorry, posted in the wrong thread :-o
PS... I haz mouse.![]()
My old Razer Naga Molten finally succumbed to the dreaded double & triple clicking... it's been driving me nuts for the past few weeks. I don't like the new Naga's & the Molten has been officially out of production for a couple years now. There have been a few up on Amazon, but they were asking ridiculous prices for them. I finally caught one at a (somewhat) reasonable price. It wasn't supposed to get here until Thursday via FedEx, but it mysteriously showed up at the PO this morning. Oh well, it works & it appears to be new, not refurbished. If I can get 4 years out of it I'll be happy.
I just wish they'd make them a little more solid. I'd gladly take a few ounces of weight & pay considerably more for one if it just replaced some critical plastic parts with metal. It's already my favorite mouse, that would just make it my absolutely perfect mouse.

I haz a torn...I got to check out both the P3 and a ZNA 30 side by each today. Shinyitis is a BAAAAD thing
Lucky for me, neither was for sale![]()
Why, oh why can't we all get obsessed with collection things that are less expensive?
I'm glad you explained. You said something about a Naga before and I had no idea what you were referring too: A phone? A tablet? I can't keep up with tech products. The only Naga I was familiar with is a snake and that didn't fit in the context of what you said.

Naga vs. Naga
The guy told me it is a "battery hog", what made you hate it?I had a zna30 and hated it. Shudder. If you have no need for the extra 10W, definitely go for the p3. That's my thinking at least

Razer makes gaming peripherals. Their mice are named after snakes, the Naga, Ouroboros, Mamba, Taipan, DeathAdder, Orochi, etc. The Naga is one of the most popular ones. 17 buttons, 8200 dpi laser, hair-trigger response times... it's a pretty awesome mouse. I don't even game on that level anymore, but I got so used to it & it fits my hand so perfectly, I just can't be without one anymore. You can set the 12-button grid to the number row, the number keypad, or macro it out to do anything you want. I use it in financial software & spreadsheets all the time.
My only complaint is that it needs more metal inside of it - more durable & a little extra weight wouldn't hurt it at all. Hardcore gamers can smoke one in a year. I was just always more gentle with my mouse, I guess. With the hair-trigger response, you don't need to slam it around or anything. The index sensor switch in mine finally went out, so it was double-clicking & triple clicking on it's own. I couldn't drag/drop anymore with it. I got 4 years out of it with more gaming hours than I'll ever admit to.
I've never tried any of their other stuff. They've made gaming keyboards for a while & I know they've branched out into more stuff, but I don't really keep track of it anymore. I just can't find a better mouse that has the shape, feel & features of the Naga.

This reminded me of this...

That could be cool... for about $60.One of the two my husband left in a taxi earlier this year was a standard red. He's very sad about it. I'm tasked with securing him another. It's not gonna be easy!!![]()
I have an obsessive collection of pictures I've taken of weird license plates!
