It looks .... my zapper is in Indy, according to tracking. WooHoo! Now if I could get a answer on the wire I ordered, I will be able to build my own NR-R-NR coils. :)

I would really like to learn more about this! Please share when you get going with it...

I love this place, thanks for being nice to me y'all, it's kinda' cool seeing all these varying vape interests shared sporadically hereabouts.

You have a point. If someone is clueless they would not know they are.

Doesn't ECF get nervous about these kinds of posts? Kind of like the bartender giving the fall down drunk another shot and a beer before he hits the road.

I see the OP did not come back after the first few suggestions he raise his ohm level and find a new vape shop.
Post the correct answer in one post, then follow up with a post with the word "boobs" in it. I'm sure that will get their attention and it will be shut down :)

I wish I could do that too. It sure would make it easier for me. Maybe someday....sigh....

I, along with 10,000 brewers, sympathize. When my brewhouse ran on propane, I had 4 tanks just because of that, all labeled. I'm running nat.gas now on a dedicated line, but I still have 2 of my tanks for a backup burner.

Hey Chief, how is this wire to work with? any idea on what gauge it is? Does it hold up well to re-wicking? TIA...

It is really easy to work with so I would say maybe 30 gauge.
I am guessing that because the wire By Leo sales is .16mm to .20mm and I think that is 30 or 32 gauge,
so It was real close to the wire that came with the cups from Leo.

My Sophia was the first coils I made and I thought it was pretty easy to use that wire.
The Coils if I took care of them I would get a month or so out of them.
Rewicking wasn't bad, but I only used them in the Sophia.

Everything was so easy that it was the reason I started buying RBAs & RDAs :)
It took the fear out of it lol :p

From what I saw it has some additional settings for varying the wattage which I think is more over to appease the crowd thats wants variable everything as again like resistance, wattage is usually a set value based on the actual electrical load (how much electricity is being used).

I have to agree with you. It doesn't matter if you set watts or volts. It's just a different way of measuring what's going on at the atomizer. But watts are a bigger number so... I think it's psychological.

I use it and the 1.8 ones are 30 gauge for the R wire part and 32 gauge for the NR wire part. It holds up really well. I hardly ever re-coil. Just dry burn and re-wick. Can't remember the last time I changed a coil and I use them in three Sophias that I use all the time. I've only had one break at the weld spot and that was before I coiled it.

ETA: I just measured the wire and it most definitely is 30 gauge.

What was it again that Peter Pan said when he was leading the kids out the window? Oh! I remember!

"Come on everybody...hold the power constant and physics are irrelevaaaaaaaaaaant!"
Lmao!!!!
I totally gave up trying to have any conversation in reference to physics, circuit analysis or the relationship between Voltage, ohms, amperage or wattage after last night.
It's not worth the chest pains or neurological breakdown

Time spent trying to teach the idiots who obviously know it all would be better spent perfecting the art of making your own juice for when the know it all idiots end up f..king it up for the rest of us.
