where exactly is most of the juice being vaporized? On, and within the wick itself, of primarily the inner glass surface?

I would surmise that it is being vaporized on the inside glass wall, where the heat is the greatest. Dan had mentioned a blackened area on the inside of the tube.

There is only one potential fault I can see with this system - the vapor has no where to go but out the top of the tube. On Dan's second attempt he made the tube so that is was shorter. I believe that if the tube was short enough to be above the top plate of the atty, then vapor would be released at the top and bottom of the tube and would not have the volcano effect. Maybe even a two piece tube, with a small space between the tubes to allow for more vapor evacuation, without the coil touching the mesh.

I'll try to look back and find it as well, but didn't somebody post a demonstration video that showed an "under coil only tube" and vapor coming out between the bottom of the tube and the top plate of the atomizer. gdeal maybe?

Ok i got it on my CUD with a Christmas light fuse (really small) and it works great with the cap off but these style genys are not made for this kinda vapor production, I'm thinking there is gona need to be a revamp to the design if we are to expect really awesome results out of this..

When you say CUD, I'm assuming a DID mini clone. What are you experiencing with the cap on and vaping? Is it harsh, does the vapor production seem off? I'd like to try this on the AGA, but with no quartz or Pyrex tubing, I'm off to find my Christmas lights to see if I have any fuses!

I got some mini strands at Michaels for like 3 bucks and they had 2 fuses in them and one spare. I opened them up to make sure they where glass b4 i bought them :) And yea its a mini clone, with the cap on its a very airy hit. I tried moving the air hole to different locations but didn't help any.. Im currently working it into a smoke tech rebuild-able i had laying around. See how that goes.
