In my mail this morning, I found a package containing several Halo ejuices. After some confusion and investigation, I figured out they are from Spinfuel Magazine for a Facebook contest I entered.
Two of the bottles were Mystic, a good menthol I have tried before. The Mystic bottles are 6mg (an almost clear liquid) and 24mg (a sharp pink color). The clear color could be from the freshness of the 6mg bottle, as it is new and the pink 24mg is a month old. Or the color could be from nic level. My guess is freshness.
Prime15 at 24mg is an almost clear
eliquid. It is Halo's version of Casablanca. It has a good nutty flavor, but nothing like peanut. I am not into eating nuts, but it is a deeper nut, like Walnut or Brazil Nut. It doesn't have that "nut shell" flavor that many other vendors' 555s have. Nice smooth tobacco and with a shot of cocoa. Prime15 is not a sweet tobacco, but it is a good one.
Torque56 is a try at regular cigarettes (Marlboro). At 24mg it has plenty of throat hit, but not a distinct flavor. I get a drop of cherry or pineapple for sweetness, but it leans toward a straight, dry tobacco. It does have a bit of smoke flavor, but that is not overdone. Not bad, but I have left the Marlboro flavor behind me forever.
Turkish Tobacco is just that, Turkish. It is mellower than Aroma's Turkish, but has a stronger tobacco. Both are very clean. I favor Aroma's, but both are high quality.
If I were you On Target, I would go for Prime15. It is very much like Casablanca, but slightly cleaner. For Turkish Blend, I would try Aroma's version, either with WTA or without.
I went a year listening to the praises of Halo from so many vapers. Early on, I tried Tribeca and found it nasty. I never understood why anyone would pay $20+ for a 30ml of their ejuice. Now I am starting to see what others found. Halo have clean ejuices that are high quality. They perform well in cartos and attys. I would have no trouble
vaping, if Halo was the my vendor. All these will get rotated in until gone.
And to keep this RY4 related, Tribeca has gone from "bug spray" to my #2 RY4. I keep going back to it.
