There are a lot south and sw of us not far away. Burleson is just down the road. In an area of virtually no earhquakes during historical times they now have become pretty common. Most likely due entirely to so much fracking in past decade. Just dropped DH off and heading home. Then airport morning nap for the additional > 4 hours I missed last night. I'm not driving yet. Be well all.

Jen, you would only elevate my "good name"! Kay, HI! I have been a stealthy ninja, nothing wrong, I just get into moods where I can't think of a thing to say. I am doing fine, just waiting for January when I'll have my first post op/treatment mammogram. Since they did 3 surgeries, and weren't able to get all the cancer, I am waiting to see if the radiation got what was left. I think/hope it did. I feel great, energy level is higher than it's been in quite a while. I've decided that if it is clear, I'm going to buy myself a nice big box of Godiva Chocolates. And I may do that even if it isn't. I'll keep on keeping an eye on everyone, and will try to do better at not being so quiet.

Jeni, this post stayed on my mind all night and this morning. I am so happy you are feeling good and hope January brings in a great year with a clean bill of health.
After three surgeries you should be bathing in chocolate, if it makes you happy!

So, since I was having a bear of a time trying to post pics i decided to try making coils, as i really dislike regular atties now. I made three of them with just a single fold of silica 3/4 wraps and so far they're all good!

I'd been messing with braided candle wick..don't like it.. all kinds of comfigurations, I even made a coil first and slipped a single straight piece of silica thru it by hand..it worked but it wasn't enough wick for me... I made one with using a needle threader...broke the needle threader... tried one with wrapping the coil around the wick and large needle..no good... tried one twice doubled over silica, too thick, was touching the side ans shorting...tried cotton yarn...burned it right off the bat...all this experimenting last night....
come to the conclusion that for me, simple is best..folded silica with one side cut short and the other just one kinda long tail to sit on the floor of the rebuildable.

So I now have a lot of cotton yarn and about five bundles of braided candle wick I have no use for!If anyone uses this stuff, PM me and I'll give it to you. ( I can't use the cotton yarn to crotchet cuz i washed it and now it's too flimsy for that) and i don't make candles anymore.

I'm vaping at 3.7 from yesterday and it is not my taste!!!!!!!!!!!

Good morning Reoville! My laptop stalled out on me last night at work. I tried everything I could but it was a mess. Came home and did a restore. Now the process of setting up, downloading programs I need, etc. I am on my desktop now. I lost a lot of stuff but with both working I should have a functional laptop for work on Monday.

My first reaction was to search prices for a new laptop! Dang! That hurt! I might go that route, but it might not be a necessity to pick one up this weekend.

Would have rather had this not happen and go to Jungle Jim's this morning!
