Actually, with all the snow we've been getting in the mountains, I was surprised to see loaded logging trucks coming down the hill yesterday when I was up there.

We were hoping that my son, Mike, could make the trip over here from Bellingham but he couldn't get enough days off to make it worth while. Just me and the missus for this Christmas.
(I just snuck upstairs to see if I could get an advance on my Christmas present but she seems to be in a Scrooge mode.)

fantastic....sometimes a quiet Christmas is just what one needs. Sadly, I have no idea if it's just us for xmas or not. Don't suppose I'll know till it gets here. I was hoping to Bribe a little early christmas outta the hubby....but all he'll tell me is I got a box o rocks.

Well I was asking for a little much this year. Instead of just a plain box of colored rocks, I asked for a shiney box of colored rocks.
He seemed a little miffed at having to go that extra mile.

Well you know us girls...we can be so demanding. Besides...it was a shiney box...of colored rocks. Shiney rocks just cost more.
It's a good thing I like rocks...been getting them for years. HA! He is so going to kill me when he catches up.

Ugh...it just makes me sick seeing people get their packages ripped off their front porches. Honestly....its sad...but at the same time, not unexpected. Word of advice for those of you who order items over the internet....if you're not home to receive them, then make sure you send them to your PO or have them shipped to your place of employment or someone you trust. We live in a pretty "safe" neighborhood, but I don't trust it. Now that we work from home, it isn't an issue for us anymore....but it still torques me off.

Scrambled eggs bacon sausage ham mushrooms and onions (whatever else you like) cooked in a pie crust. Many say real men dont eat quiche but they've never had my quiche
