Quick pop in. Been so busy. Need to catch up later. Did see that Jack is sick. Flu around the country is approaching epidemic. Saw on news that hospitals are requesting people to call their doctors first and not go immediately into ERs unless emergency. They are even rescheduling elective surgeries and turning some patients away from ERs. If ER can be avoided or stay in hospital, where many people exposed to all kinds of things not normally found in regular environment, best to stay away from hospitals. Jack please call doc and get on antiviral if flu suspected. Without antivirals I would have many colds and several bouts of influenza a year as I'm such a cold/flu virus magnet. Please take your condition very seriously. Hope you start some recovery, soon.
Ran out of Bub food thinking I had another bag stashed. Too late to run out so Bubs got special treat. Made up a couple of gallons of brown rice, and pulled about a half gallon total of baby foods out of stash and some canned salmon. They loved it!!!!! My non-food protecting Bubs, who free feed from two elevated bowls, sometimes two or more at a time, got pretty primitive, so I had to block off kitchen and feed two at a time. At one point, each feeding, I had to hold the bowls from sliding around they were so eagerly lapping it up and licking bowls. My dinner was taking spoonfuls out of each jar as I was mixing the blend; mostly baby meat/grain mixed dinners and veggies, and a few fruits, topped off with raw baby carrots. I saved the peaches and baby weiners for me. Needed to use them up anyway as some are expiring in a few months. Bubs have "guts of steel" but rice is used for the runs anyway. And one or two weeks a month their kibble is mainly salmon, veggies, and brown rice anyway. But if they do get upsets they can make it out doggie door so no mess, other than usual mud, in house. I was going to cook up some expensive organic chicken I have frozen but remembered the salmon cans. Needless to say they all have salmon breath much more than they usually do from their food. Didn't think to put cranraisons in but they didn't mind.
Please take care all and take the flu very seriously. Unusually high numbers of people, youngsters, too, are dying, at much higher than normal rates, in some areas higher than for usual whole flu seasons. I've already taken antivirals several times in past few months when I or we had any symptoms and I haven't gone into influenze yet, knock on wood. I get brain swelling with some colds and all influenzas so even a cold can keep me from working and driving for a week or more. My immune system is killer for most bacteria but the influenza virus is a major event for me as far as brain and nervous system. DH had ptomane poisoning, probably, Saturday and Sunday. That is extreme digestive system desaster from toxins from bacteria so no teatment other than keeping hydrated. Because I had some cold symptoms he took antivirals for a few day because his system was stressed. He was one sick puppy. Second time this year for food related illness. He was pretty shaky for a couple of days after but is fine now. Any added stress on body can make one much more suseptable to influenza virus attack.
Love you all. Get some antibacterial gels and wipes to use a whole lot. Wipe down hands frequently in public and especially while shopping and touching anything public. Avoid touching eyes, mouth, nose when in public and only after washing hands. Best to avoid areas of close contact with lots of people. Best to hide from the Hooples as much as possible. Even advise avoiding restuarants and fast foods. Anyone with influenza is contagious a day or so before they have symptoms. That is why most hospitals require medical personel to get the flu shots. People will be exposing weakened people, if they have influenza, before they have any symptoms. That's why staying at home after symptoms start still exposes vunerable people to the infection.

heads, or my wife for taking their call in the middle of the night. And just when I'm starting to get back to sleep, wifey starts snoring in my ear. Jesus Almighty God... I think I'm going to make a point to repeatedly call both of them back at ten in the morning just to jack with their sleep a little bit!
old ones=ok
Like Dave said when you have the best anything else would be a step down but still waiting for a Variable Wattage Reo
