Quick pop in. Been so busy. Need to catch up later. Did see that Jack is sick. Flu around the country is approaching epidemic. Saw on news that hospitals are requesting people to call their doctors first and not go immediately into ERs unless emergency. They are even rescheduling elective surgeries and turning some patients away from ERs. If ER can be avoided or stay in hospital, where many people exposed to all kinds of things not normally found in regular environment, best to stay away from hospitals. Jack please call doc and get on antiviral if flu suspected. Without antivirals I would have many colds and several bouts of influenza a year as I'm such a cold/flu virus magnet. Please take your condition very seriously. Hope you start some recovery, soon.

Ran out of Bub food thinking I had another bag stashed. Too late to run out so Bubs got special treat. Made up a couple of gallons of brown rice, and pulled about a half gallon total of baby foods out of stash and some canned salmon. They loved it!!!!! My non-food protecting Bubs, who free feed from two elevated bowls, sometimes two or more at a time, got pretty primitive, so I had to block off kitchen and feed two at a time. At one point, each feeding, I had to hold the bowls from sliding around they were so eagerly lapping it up and licking bowls. My dinner was taking spoonfuls out of each jar as I was mixing the blend; mostly baby meat/grain mixed dinners and veggies, and a few fruits, topped off with raw baby carrots. I saved the peaches and baby weiners for me. Needed to use them up anyway as some are expiring in a few months. Bubs have "guts of steel" but rice is used for the runs anyway. And one or two weeks a month their kibble is mainly salmon, veggies, and brown rice anyway. But if they do get upsets they can make it out doggie door so no mess, other than usual mud, in house. I was going to cook up some expensive organic chicken I have frozen but remembered the salmon cans. Needless to say they all have salmon breath much more than they usually do from their food. Didn't think to put cranraisons in but they didn't mind.

Please take care all and take the flu very seriously. Unusually high numbers of people, youngsters, too, are dying, at much higher than normal rates, in some areas higher than for usual whole flu seasons. I've already taken antivirals several times in past few months when I or we had any symptoms and I haven't gone into influenze yet, knock on wood. I get brain swelling with some colds and all influenzas so even a cold can keep me from working and driving for a week or more. My immune system is killer for most bacteria but the influenza virus is a major event for me as far as brain and nervous system. DH had ptomane poisoning, probably, Saturday and Sunday. That is extreme digestive system desaster from toxins from bacteria so no teatment other than keeping hydrated. Because I had some cold symptoms he took antivirals for a few day because his system was stressed. He was one sick puppy. Second time this year for food related illness. He was pretty shaky for a couple of days after but is fine now. Any added stress on body can make one much more suseptable to influenza virus attack.

Love you all. Get some antibacterial gels and wipes to use a whole lot. Wipe down hands frequently in public and especially while shopping and touching anything public. Avoid touching eyes, mouth, nose when in public and only after washing hands. Best to avoid areas of close contact with lots of people. Best to hide from the Hooples as much as possible. Even advise avoiding restuarants and fast foods. Anyone with influenza is contagious a day or so before they have symptoms. That is why most hospitals require medical personel to get the flu shots. People will be exposing weakened people, if they have influenza, before they have any symptoms. That's why staying at home after symptoms start still exposes vunerable people to the infection.

Love, healing, Feisty Alice

Just doing a quick catch up while taking a short break from work...and I'm damn near speechless. My friend, you may have all the positive energy I can muster, but that's hard to do considering how irate I would be if I were in your shoes. I have no doubt that I would have been escorted from some office somewhere at the very least, and at the worst, taking a cold vacation for wrecking someone's office (otherwise known as vandalism, and generally being a danger to self and others.) I'm crossing all my crossables that your package arrives and the only thing that is damaged is the box itself. (((Chris)))

Well, thanks for the vibes - it helped! The parcel has just been delivered - and all the REOs are here. Our customs sent the whole package to a lab that evaluated the contents and seomething went wrong there, I was told - this surely isn't the original packaging, but at least the main pieces are still there.

Now I'll sort through this bag and see what I got.

Thanks for the help!

Chris

Edit after rummaging through the parts: It's all here, a couple scratches and a door magnet missing is all the damage done. vaping my new metallic red VVG with the REOmizer atm, very nice!

Wow, no idea the flu was getting that bad. Got the inoculation for it, fortunately.

I guess since we're just checking in... Wife just traded in her 3 year old baby benz (problematic, expensive, gas guzzling, unreliable PITA) for a new Camry. The deutche car is out of warranty and is starting to act up, and with it costing $185 TO REPLACE THE EFFING WIPERS, she decided it was time to get out of it. Nice deal on a nice toyota, and with 0% financing and 3 year maintenance included, we couldn't be happier to get a car payment.

Business is starting to pick up after the holiday slump, thank God. I never seem to have time and money at the same time, but I vastly prefer having the latter over the former. Really looking forward to a local 12 step convention this weekend.

And, in case you're wondering why in God's name I'm on the boards at this hour...Sister in law and brother in law is trying to get a problematic long term guest out of their house. Despite not having a lease, etc., etc., I advised them the cops may not allow them to lock him out if they determine he is in fact a resident there, and advised them to get a Forcible Entry and Detainer order from a judge. They frantically called both mine and my wife's cell phones at 2 a.m. because (Care to guess?) the cops were acting like they were going to let him back in their house! I honestly don't know who I'm more aggravated at, them for being :censored:heads, or my wife for taking their call in the middle of the night. And just when I'm starting to get back to sleep, wifey starts snoring in my ear. Jesus Almighty God... I think I'm going to make a point to repeatedly call both of them back at ten in the morning just to jack with their sleep a little bit!

Is anyone else so satisfied with their Reos that they're completely indifferent to everything else now? I was chatting on the phone yesterday with another modder, who seemed honestly shocked when he learned I hadn't heard of some hot new mod. Honestly, my VVG & rba combo works so well, I'm not tempted to even look at other subforums...

Hope all you Reonauts have a great day today!

Good morning Clyde. I must say that I sometimes give a quick look at some of the other PV's. Mostly because I can't believe people are happy with out a REO. Can't see myself ever changing to something else.

Morning everyone, a few pics from Sandals Resort in Jamaica ........
Sorry I look like a dork, not the most flattering pic of me :(
Sorry its not a REO (very sorry trust me) but I just didn't dare risk it. Now that I've done the trip I realize I would have been fine. Customs was a breeze, they didn't look at anything.

I use other PVs myself - Kayfun 3 and Semowar (so far the best taste from my Vanilla Custard), GGTS with Kick and Odysseus (this will continue to work when all other mods have gone the way of the dodo, because of the indestructible construction), even an eCab and a Biansi Imist (For stealth vaping 45mg) at times. My girl has a REO Mini with 1.7 shorties she likes a lot, but also uses Vivi Novas on Twists and small 14500 mods with Penelope and Kayfusha (Kayfun Mini).

The vaping world moves fast.
I don't need to follow every trend, but I am far too nosy to not try other things out there.

That said, it is good to know there are devices that will just work if you need a vape while fiddling with the last glass-covered ceramic wick in a titanium atomizer thingy, for me that's said Kayfun, Odysseus ... and the REOs.

To be completely honest, super-t does have a new ELA mod out that looks like a mixture of the best points of the precise plus and the GGTS, and I considered it for a minute and a half. The fact that it's been out there for a month without me knowing anything about it pretty much says it all.

May have to see if I can sweet talk Rob into making me a VV or VW Woodville....with a 26650 battery!

If you've had your eye on something in particular or have considered laying in supplies for the long haul, might be time to step up your game. FDA ruling and regs coming by April.

Well good thing I just started buying my DIY stuff now if I can just master a few of my main vapes before the poop hit the fan!
