I mean, they do state that shipping won't be calculated and charged until after you place the order, so while I would rather know up front too, they're clear about it.

Got mine in today. Quick shipping as always :thumb: so glad to have these!
True but $6 for a one ounce item is a bit much, I thought at most it would be $1
Merry Xmas :)

Keep in mind too, especially if you mix by weight. The OSDIY Blue Raspberry Slush is 67% VG, as opposed to most of their other blends, which are mainly PG.
Yep, threw me off. ELR didnt do a good job calculating its weight. Gonna have to do the math myself next mix i guess.

Not sure if this is in the right place.. although I finally found the reonauts lounge. Anyone have the reomizer 9 or a vector? I found the authentic vector online for about 30 bucks and I have the reomizer 9. I was wondering if I could possibly switch out the center posts so I could have an authentic bf vector.. the rm9 is great but would like a backup

I don't know. I don't have either of those attys. I did have an authentic Vector for a short time, which I got from Catfish Atty mods. He (Tom) converts conventional drippers to BFers. He's in the supplier section. He may be able to fix you up with a pin, or convert it, if you send it in.

I had Vector and the RM9. I didn't care for either because the positive pin on both slid up when I tightened the atty down. The RM9 leaked some at the 510, the dripping Vector would lose good contact and failed to fire. Now I have never used Catfish recommended by Rule but it might be worth a try if you like that Vector design. I understand he does good work and his modification may fix the problem that I had.

I truly don't mean to sound like an ... here, but...really...

I just had a problem with McMaster Carr
The screws on the web site were about $4.25
My final bill they sent for approval was $4.25
This morning after they shipped they added another $6.00 for shipping.
I yelled alot and they dropped the shipping charge
Sounds kinda selfish but they pretty much have you by the short and curly's on these... Where else are you going to find this screw that cheap? I sold fasteners for almost 30yrs and I can tell you that their price with shipping is about $50 cheaper than any metric house in the country. You can buy cup point metric all day long, but dog point is like finding a needle in a hay stack in a quantity of 25!!!
I don't like how they do it. On mine, I didn't know how much shipping was until they e-mailed an invoice. The invoice came after I had received the screws. The total was $9.54. $4.40 for the screws, .35 tax, and 4.79 shipping. It was delivered the next day tho.
You could've drove to Santa Fe Springs and had them the same day you ordered them and saved the freight!!

I'm taking it you don't order many items that are shipped to you!! Take a drive up there one day and check out the madhouse they call a warehouse and you might get an idea of why they do what they do... ^^see my previous response...

The Vector / RM9 was probably the 1st RDA that I actually passed up because of how it was BF. It had to have the post sliced down one side because it couldn't be drilled out. It screamed spinning +post even more than the CF Derringers did!!

I don't remember how CF modded the Vector, I didn't have it long enough. I just didn't like the atty in general. I couldn't get used to the integrated mouthpiece. I traded it for a Manta 2 after a couple days. But, CF's work is generally excellent. I've purchased several attys from him: Stumpys, Thumps, Makers, Mantas. No complaints with the work on any.
Nowadays, more attys are coming with BF pins, either installed, or as an option. Slow progress, but it's progress.

I wish that had that foresight. There were several things I liked about it but overall it simply didn't work out for me.

Yeah, I could have. It's what, about 50-60 miles from me, on packed freeways. I wasn't complaining about the price, just how they do it. If I would've seen what the shipping was at the time I ordered, and realized that it was next day delivery, I would've still placed the order.

Thought I'd correct that for you... Most I've seen out there won't come remotely close to draining and most hole on average of 2ml+... Thats not a BF atty or option imo!!!

It would depend on what time of day you were driving and what route you took I suppose. I drove a box truck for a packaging company the last couple years I was in California and I know it only took me about 30-45 minutes to get from Long Beach to Fontana. Your not much further out than that... You don't ever go up to OC or LA?
