i run my 016 lower than my stumpy

2.5mm single parallel Z coil @0.18 ohm [on parallel battery mods]

you'd be surprised how airy the small hole seems with te small deck... it must be a proportion thing, but definitely DL and more cloud than derringer or stumpy [which were my last 2 rda i liked before this came out]
There's a thread about the O16 clone. I've already go it on my wish list for next time I order.

But, now I here it's for DL?!

Is it really? If so, off my list it goes.

I'd keep it on your list - I think folks point out that it CAN do lung hits, because at a glance it doesn't LOOK like it would. But it's truly adjustable - you can dial down the draw for an excellent MTL performance.
(I run mine wide open, but I checked before saying so :))

I wouldn't say DLH... More of a restricted DLH, but can be dialed down to almost nothing for the tootle puffers out there easily.

I've got the O16 clone from focalecig, & the adjustable airflow has a wide range. There are 12 air holes around the base & 2 in the collar offering a selection of 8 settings with either single or dual intake.

It's versatile & well machined. I suggest you keep it on your list.

and I'm just the opposite. I had ruled it out cuz when folks were talking about it before, it seemed like the most open airflow was similar to the nuppins which isn't enough now. But wanted to ask @Doffy or anyone else that has had both, is it at least as much AF on the clones as the derringer or maybe a lil more?

I haven't had his silver contacts in the REO, but I know his price for them and I've had his own mods. So I can vouch for muzichead's words. They're worth the money! They hit like a freight train.

I didn't jump on the CC train. But I have a pdib Lil Pinch coming in a few days. I'd been on the list for over a year, and had forgotten about it, until I got a message a while back that my name had come up. Should be finished later this week.

I tried the brass screw and nuts prior to doing the solid silver negative screw. Let me tell you, there's even more of a difference. Not to mention, maintenance is next to nothing... As far as I know, I am the only person that had Corey machine the silver screws for the Reo. He said everyone else scoffed at the price and decided against them. I wouldn't hesitate again to do another if I had one...
I pm'd Corey and he gave me the price and I will do it when I can. The brass screw and nuts have doubled the hit I get off of my REO. After i get one, and it works like I want it to, I'll do my other two.

You'll love it. I had to postpone my second one for financial reasons, but I'd love to get another when I can. Those are some super hard hitting beasts!

I'm looking forward to it. It will be my first non-REO squonker. It didn't come at the best time financially for me either. But it had been so long, especially after a trip up north, and then some Hurricane Matthew recovery. But I had to make it happen.

@Doffy, @Rayonati Sloth - so, thanks!
After your suggestions, I went parallel in my Hadalay - FAR better with 27ga parallel than it was with a fat single...
I tried same with a Narda, but mounting was a beeeyotch, and I mangled it, so I went back.

I got them both wicked and positioned a little better too though. I'm foggin' up the place...lol.

Hi luv

Not as airy as a derringer. Unsure what to compare it to, I don't experiment with RDA much. As stated by others, restricted lung hit.

The clones are around $10 and well worth it.

If you just want the deck style. Derringer v3, which was never made by praxis, only the cloners, has a good 2 post deck. Takes an m3 pin from fatdaddy vapes. Same size ans shape as v1, but 2 post deck to allow centred parallel coils etc.

Back up a little, and look at the picture again .. you'll know it when you find it.
You'll find them where they have the pen and pencil supplies.

Found it at amazon.

White erasers: any little white eraser works for our purposes. You can get white erasers 6 to a package at the Dollar Tree store. They're shaped like hearts, or flowers, or Minions, or Mickey Mouse, or.... You get it. Any of them will work.
oh kewl beans! Even better!

i am pretty good deb

i'm tired, my mum falled down and spent 5 weeks in hospital... just caring for her for the most part

often hear of the elderly "having a fall"... but until you see it, you just don't realise

i found her on her bedroom floor, all hypothermic and unwell, with a cracked hip :(

she is doing well with recovery, just slow

oh noooooo so glad she has you to help her but yeah it'll wear you out. Very glad she is getting better and doing well. Jup ya just don't jump right up from something like that. Hope you take some time for you, to rest and relax.

My aunt was around 80 when she fell down the basement stairs, broke 14 bones, had a stroke a few days later..... she was in the hospital side of an assisted living place, but she lived several years after that. I can't imagine going through all that at that age. Or any age really.
