lol hey hun
Hey Reofam,
Anyone got a line on a good narda ultem cap supplier? Odis has 'em, but I'm not as keen on the frosted/matte look.
Also, to those in the know - O-atty versus Hadaly, which one do you prefer (and maybe why, if I'm not being too pushy). I have the Hadaly (also the narda).
No clue on a Narda cap - lemme know if you find one!
On the O-atty...what are you HOPING for?
I have authentic Hadaly, 1 each Narda, and a Catfished clone O-atty.
Right this minute, the O-atty is parked...not that it's bad, but...well...it's not better, and it is bigger.
DISCLAIMER: I don't have the patience (or skill, really) to try a bunch of different builds when I get an atty. I look the thing over, I pick one of a very few go-to builds that it seems suited for, and I give it a try. If the vape is "meh" it can be a month before I pick it up and try something else - I've got plenty of atties, usually a few built, clean, and ready-to-go as soon as something gets gunky or boring. So, for instance, I have JUST NOW found a pretty good build in my Hadaly, after not liking it for a few months. And I probably, to be fair, owe my O-atty another try or two.
Narda - I always always wish it had just a TINY bit more air. And that friggin' whistle! I don't want to drill a cap on an authentic Narda, or on a pricey Odis cap...(yeah - that whistles, too). I also find that it's tricky wicking. Not hard to wick, but hard to get the build/wick just right so that it stays juicy enuf (this is, in fact, what keeps me running duals a lot - more coil/wick surface area, more juicy...I run duals in O-littles, and Nuppins)
Hadaly - Very similar to Narda. Remove whistle, but add oversquonk airhole gurgle.
O-atty - Well, it is a clone. So from what I hear, it's got a better squonk hole, and improved coil mount (big fat grubs). And while it doesn't leak or whistle, it's got that same challenge keeping a wick wet enough, AND it's basically a Narda with a bigger chamber. So, why?
Nice report. Thanks
For this set of atties, I'm after flavour first. I've settled in to a nice build for the narda (doesn't even whistle, praise the gods) - works on both the OG and Tom's chinarda. Flavour? A solid 8 - 8.5. The hadaly took longer to dial in, but delivers once it was. Similar in flavour, mebbee a touch more, but with some attendant leakage at times (as you note, too).
I'm curious about the o-atty only because a fair few peeps claim it's displaced the narda for them. I'm hip to Tom's upgrades, and while that's nice, I'm chasing the flavour dragon, as it were.
From what you say, that might be a fool's errand in this case, so I appreciate the perspective.
You, by chance, got any experience with the Shift BF?

Good Morning Reonauts. It's been so long since I've bought an atomizer that it's starting to sound like a foreign language. I feel like the old fart sitting by the riverside, watching all of the "new, bright, and shiny" drift past as I calmly still enjoy my RM2.
"Patience, grasshopper. Let the flavor dragon come to you !"

Have a Safe and Blessed Day, and a Great Weekend when you get to it !
Have not tried a Shift, no, sorry!
I probably will buy a Mulciber soon. Holding off, but I'll probably wear down and pull the trigger...
shift is really nice
i should note that i vape unflavoured, but apparently flavour is good, if that's your thing
what is the midway between DLH and restricted lung hit? that's the shift, whatever it is called
getting the cap on with that little alignment screw involves lots ofthough

I have watched that same river, I went to the bank and dove in twice but eventually I came back to sit and watch with my RM2 on a Grand - same river but just a little to your west in the Bluegrass State.
Howdy hun!hey everyone
See that guy in the boston whaler with 4 fishing lines in the water, cursing while busy trying to tune his milspec sonar, wife smirking at him while she drinks iced tea and lounges in the sun? That'd be me. Mebbee wave next time I pass.
Good Morning Reonauts. I, too, would once wade into the river of atomizers, but such fancies no longer seem so desirable. And thus, here I sit, watching Papa curse his Lorans, and relaxing beneath the shade tree.
So, anyways... I went to the Optometrist yesterday. A strip mall Optometrist, no less. They were very polite, and very pleasant, For the amount that they charged me (or should I say fleeced me) they should have been. Spending a week's pay every three or four years for a new set of specs is getting old (and so am I). But at least this time I remembered to ask for my prescription.
Where can I order glasses online for a reasonable price ?
