what we're getting with all the attention is a myriad of different experiences and attys/carto's.
i take it closed bottom attys do not work ... and some attys like the 901 are a questionable fit.
The collar/cone deal, part of the enclosed feed system, is what makes this bottom feeder stand out imo.
It's new, it provides freedom from leaks, and gives a nice draw. I like a little bit of draw, like closer to an analog experience, and you can feel the vapor going into your mouth.
I have been doing only VV for the last year and this is the first mechanical 3.7 pv I've gotten, and kept, recently.
My norm for VV has been an SR atty or carto (in tank) at 3.6 to 4.2v.
The XL w/ 18650 batt will do SR pretty well, but imo it is best with LR.
This is the only pv that I use 1.5 LR, and it ensures a sure-fire vape but you need to keep the atty wet or it will be too harsh.
The trick is not overfeeding, or it will not be a great vape either.
I suggest taking the cone and collar and atty off, and test drip.... see how much juice comes out per squeeze.
Bottom feeding is easier than dripping only because you don't have to use the bottle separate from the pv, but for one thing, the juice doesn't feed from the top like dripping, and it's hard to know exactly how much juice goes into the atty.
In order to get the most out of it you should know dripping 101.... not too much, not too little, and of course which resistance (Ohms) atty to use.
My suggestion for newbs is once you find what works for you, stick with it.
I've found that the i06 LR 1.5 works for me, and I haven't changed since i got it.
, once it get's burn't, it'll alway's taste burnt when it start's to dry a bit.
