So When I get My V mod XL What should I try 1st? The atty or the carto. Remember I'm still a newb. They are going to make a killing off me on the different colored shells! I had saved up to buy a Rio and was waiting to order a purple one when I found out I could just buy extra shells for the XL and spent the whole wad. I still need 4 more for a total of 9 and I will be done LOL Wait... then maybe more XLs to dress up. Accessories are a girls best friend and as far as I am concerned mods are no different.

After trying every atty on the market, I'm found the Aero 510 1.5 ohm atomizer from Avid Vaper works best on my VMod XL.
The Vapage attys and cartos just didn't do it for me no matter what resistance version I tried. They feed GREAT, but flavor and vapor production were not up to what I need.
YMMV.

Me too; this atty and at 1.5 Ohms is perfect... if you feed it just right, you get super hits... i tend to try to chain vape it but it will get hot, so i make sure it's fed good, and take 2 or 3 really good tokes, let it cool and do it again before feeding.
I have only used the Vapage that came with it, too cool... the i06 1.8 LR, very nice, and this one the Bridgeless Aero 1.5 LR... I don't want to change anything with the Aero on it.
I use a pyrex d/t on it so i can drip to top off if i want.
btw, IMR AW 18650 is imo the preferred XL Vmod batt for these LRs.

Who are you? You look awfully familiar... ;)

MISS YOU, BABY!! Can't wait to see you back on here. Oh, and you can bring that chick if ya like. She's always welcome.

Hello Vmodians!

Just a quick fly-by to let you know I'm alive!

Life has kept me busy lately, but I'll be back on ECF before you know it. :)

A little KP for you!

I am having a small problem with my Vmod XL. I am wondering if anyone else has this problem and if there is a solution. The button has a very slight wiggle to it. Every couple of hits it seems like the flat metal bottom of the button does not meet flush with the positive end of the battery and I do not get full power. It gives me a hit like the battary is drained when it is not. It is like one in every three to four pulls and kind of annoying. Anyone else with this issue?

Hey nordoe --- On the first issue XL I found it best to use a battery with a nipple or attach one of those tiny magnet spacers to replace the nipple. (nail polish works almost at good as super glue). That handled it for me.

(It's been recommended to secure that magnet---as it is could slip around and be icky---for any mod. Any tiny conductive metal could be used.)

The button was tweaked a bit on later issues to fix that.

Hope this helps.

I am using a nipple top, trustfire flames. What do you do with nail polish or superglue?

That's what you use to glue the spacer to the battery top, if it doesn't have a nipple.

On your problem --- only 2 more, make it 3, ideas from me.

Try turning it nipple down.

Or, don't use trustfires. I'm an AW fan. Vapage brand is good too.

Maybe Cristine at customer support may have a suggestion.

Any other ideas out there?

A bath? Works wonders on these mods. :)

Her name is Barbie because she is going to change her clothes every day:D Well me and Barbie are off to run the kids to all their important places.

Not really a problem only having one if you have spare batteries and bottle.

Agree it is fantastic and what is really good news for you is that I am appreciating it more as time goes by.

On another note I got sorta kinda bored waiting for the HH357 become available again so decided to get a 306 and an Aero to give them a try. That and I found out that there is a HH357 V2 appearing in a few weeks. I have been wanting to try the Aero and 306 anyway so all good.

Dana, you don't need to wait anymore. Nor does anyone else!! But they are in limited suppy... just an FYI.

Guess what! The new (pretty sweet) color shells are AVAILABLE on Vapage.com, right now!

They are really beautiful and more of a frosted anodized, which makes them 1) less slippery if your hands are wet and 2) warmer in touch than the older ones, and 3) more scratch resistant. Win win WIN!

Look at these! (green, blue, pink, gunmetal, purple) I love the baby pink. The blue is awesome too. And oh, that gorgeous purple... Oh hellsbells, I love them all. They have a sort of neon glow to them.
