Not a quitter.

Just seem to have a few other option I need to play with and get an understanding of.

I don't think I have ever said anything negative about this device or ever will. It was to my mind the first device I ever just felt comfortable vaping and it is awesome. Just a case of the the second one I bought not faring well, the replacement being lost by USPS meaning that I have to look at other options that I have already as I can't buy another at this time.

Vapage do not owe me a penny as Brian has been awesome and it is not their responsibility if USPS say it was delivered to my house. Trouble is that it wasn't. Those the breaks.

Waiting to see if another version will appear in the new year and I should be in a position to get that then.

Anyone reading this wondering whether to get one ?

Don't wonder. If it is your budget.

Buy.
Charge battery.
Fit battery.
Fill bottle.
Put in a Hybrid atty.
Vape.

Repeat steps 2,3,4 & 6 for a very long time !

Chalk up another one for USPS. Bought another Vmod XL for classified and tracking showed it should be delivered today. Now, the tracking shows "missent". After checking with local post office that means it showed up at the wrong post office. The regional USPS sort center in Greensboro, NC seems to be the cause of 4 lost packages this year........

Carto?

What juice you vaping as that seems a little shy of what I would expect from a Boge.

Most use attys with the XL but if Boges are not lasting I would suggest you look at attys too. You can put in anything with a 510 connection so if you have say Resurrectors they are worth a try.

All the XL does is replace the tank and battery so any life expectancy of a carto is really down to the juice not the PV.

I'm so sad to report my vmod xl will be sitting on a shelf forever. I was walking around and pulled it out of my pocket and found a small amount of juice around the bottom where the cover meets the chassis. I opened it up to find the inside covered in juice. Upon cleaning I found the two cracks running up from where the bottle meets the chassis. Every time I would squwonk the juice was coming out of the cracks on both sides.
I'm so bummed. This was the only vape I would walk out of the house with. Now it's gone. :(

This sucks. It's out of warranty to :(

I shall miss you vmod

Cobber, don't give up all hope! Give the XL a good wash and dry, then try a teesy bit of super glue. This has actually helped others in the past. And yes, agree with the suggestion to get in touch with CS soon as you can.

Let us know?

I am dealing with the same thing only difference is I have purchased 4 XL's and only the recent one I purchased in May is the only one not cracked....I am currently waiting for 2 of them to be replaced. For me trying to glue them did not resolve the leaking from the cracks, I wish it had been that simple to fix. I did use super glue and not gorrila glue, but to be honest I do not want to vape any juice coming in contact with any glue.

Where are the cracks happening. I have two XLs, one a pre-production model and another purchased out of the first release batch. Haven't noticed any cracks or leaks in either of mine.

The cracks have varied from one XL to the next. My first XL, which lasted the longest, was out of the initial release batch.

I have been contacted my vapage and I am very very happy with what has been discussed.

Vapage continues to stand by their products.
That's good because it could be a deal breaker; so many have that issue. I had 2 that were such, and I had one replaced (the other was sold before it cracked; as far as i know).
Crack seems to be at the plastic right above the bottle threading.
I have one (my second, and the keeper) that has no crack since getting about 3-4 months ago. I try to be careful when screwing the bottle in; screwing it just enough to snug, not tight) after refilling just in case it's the pressure that is causing the cracking there.
