Hey guys quick question, I have been loving my vmod, but have been having really short life spans of the hybrid attys. The one that came with the vmod lasted about 4 days, and the 1.5 vapage atty i got through cov only lasted 2 days. This is at 3.7v with the battery that came with the premium kit. Normal or just a run of bad luck? Its time to order new attys now lol, not sure if i should go vapage or try something else I do like the vape the hybrids give but am open to other things.

I went through a bad run when I started with Hybrids.

I have been giving them another run lately and they are far more stable. Could be that COV had old stock but I know the new Shiftu are going online shortly if not are available.

Ermm Mr Shiftu read of my USPS plight and......I am afraid the land of VModia isn't free of me.

hmmm, that is bad and unless those are bad attys, i can't think of anything that could cause such. Unless there is a possibility of the batt giving too much voltage, which i wouldn't know anything about.
i think 1.5 Ohms is perfect for this 3.7 pv... which is probably giving about 3.4 or 3.5 true voltage.
I'd stick with that resistance and also with Hybrids. I like the Aero from Avidvaper myself, for my XL. Very smooth and lasting for over a month so far (although i rotate my pv's all the time).
CS should address this you know...

Interesting... What is the juice you vape? I have a 1.5 Hybrid and it has been going for at least a month now. I only use it a couple days a week. I primarily only use Cisco spec LR1.5 ohm 306 atty's as they give the best vape for me. I also only vape one juice only. Maybe it is the juice you vape that is killing them. Do you switch flavors and or PG/VG blends often?

I'm buying a Vmod XL at the end of the week, and I want to give attys another shot. The HH.357's look perfect, but I have a question before I pull the trigger: should I buy the regular or the long barrel? I want to be able to use the drip tips I already have, and I'm not sure if the standard size will clear the cone or not.

You can use any drip tip you want with either one. The short barrel sticks out ever so slightly above the cone on the XL....

I'd get either one since they both would fit in the collar, with standard radius of a 510 atty.
The LB will give you less juice in the mouth just because it's a longer distance to your lips.
Like most attys, too much juice will ruin the vape, but dry burning will shorten the life.
With the XL you just tip the unit to get some juice in the base of the atty, and keep it slightly wet at all times.
Get the 1.5 357 because they are best with this XL and the 1.5 is not a "hot" vape.
If I weren't rotating 3 x 357 at home (90%), I'd rather have one on my XL which is only used on the road (10%) but then again the Aero is pretty darn close.

Feel happier talking about the 357 and Aero here lol

I love the 357 it really is a fantastic atty. Still have the is it really $10+ better than the Aero question. Two Aeros or one 357....very tricky.

Hoping to have a couple of Shifu's in a day or so. That will be interesting. Usps willing!

They have them priced relative to the value imo, but with added $ for the "hand made in USA" factor in the 357.
Cisco spec = $9
Aero = $12
357 = $22
If you want the best flavor available today you must have the 357.
For budget minded; the 357 1.5 works fine on an eGo batt. :)

Oh have no doubt I am not done with the 357 but sooo many attys to try lol

Been using a Hybrid the last few days...have to say it is performing very well with Bobas. Very, very 306 reminiscent. As said before was very concerned about life span of these but the latest batch are lasting as long as I don't go mad and keep them in the 3,7 range.
