I managed to fix the tight draw by using a paperclip. I pushed the mesh, coil and the ceramic cup up a little bit and it helped with the air flow. becareful not to over push!
Never tried that one Racehorse.
But this new Vapage set up looks like a nice addition to someone's arsenal:

I just grabbed an XL from the classifieds and have been reading up on it. This is my first mod of any sort and have never used a bottom feed before. Im a bit confused on a few things and could use some help. Atomizers or Cartomizers ? im not sure witch one to use. If I use an atomizer do I deed to use somethig over it? If I use a Caromizer do I need to get a special kind or will and brand and stile work?
Tried using IKV atomizers, i306 and 510. does not fire?
did tighten them down enough? try another turn and check if they fire; XL chamber is known for its stiffness in threading an atomizer in there. You don't want to overdo it but just keep testing until it catches.... all other factors being normal (atomizer is good, batts are charged).
I've been switching back and forth with the silo cartomoizer and shifu atomizer. Right now I'm preferring the cartomizer because it's ease of use, and i have been having trouble with the shifu. With the shifu i end up with two solid hits before i have to squeeze the bottle and even then it still taste like im burning. When i look into the shifu and squeeze it barely pushes anything through.
to keep it short,Hope Im not being a pain... Battery I know they have to be 18650 but dues the Mah matter? will any 18650 bat work? for instance Li Ion,IMR,AW ect ?
thanks for the heads up...Is there a local place I could try to find something like this. Like an electronic store?to keep it short,
If you are using LR atomizer or carto, IMR batt is best. It's called a high drain, meaning it supplies sufficient power for LR. Li ion or protected, is ok though. Both will work. I think best to use button top vs flat top batteries.
Btw, aw is a brand name, the most reputable.
