fourthrok, you should get a gift also. Any one that has double trouble with vapage should get some kind of discount or gift :)

I love my little Vmod so much and plan to have another asap! It is so easy to use because of being a gravity botton feeder. I love the atty from vapage also and need to stock up next month. Yep, I am counting days now and hope they have some left after all the sales. The one atty i got with the kit is still going strong at almost one month old.

Vmod rocks!

btw has any one used stickers to decorate their box/shell? I found a fantastic place to get some really cool ones and will let you know how long they last :D

Just received my VMOD 2.0, charging my 14500 right now. Not really impressed with the plastic part inside the aluminum, but at least it is protected. The button feels a little cheap as well. I do enjoy the fact it's fully mechanical. If I enjoy the experience I fully intend to order an 18650, although a blemished Reo isn't much more cash and the quality is far superior...

Hi, I have both Vmod 2.0 and Reo mini. The quality of the Vmod is different than the Reo but that is not the reason I went and purchased my Reo. The main difference for me is even though they are both bottom feeders the Vmod is gravity fed and the Reo is not. I like gravity feeding at times. It means less squonking.

Another difference is weight, With the plastic inside of a protective shell the Vmod is very light and if i drop it on my foot it doesn't hurt. Thankfully i have never dropped my Reo but i can definitely say it will hurt me if/when i do. I can forget i am holding my Vmod but not my Reo. :D

I love both types of bf mods and wouldn't give either one of them up. In fact i want to get one more of each in the same small size.

I have been enjoying it so far. The only real negatives I can see are the plastic shell inside and the button.

It is a great mod, I will admit. And I will be getting an 18650 version very soon. Hopefully one pops up on the classified section!

I am a little nervous about the customer service...I will admit.

The more I use mine, the more I really like them.
No, they are not made of stainless steel, but I don't feel they are cheap in any way.
The use of plastic and aluminum allow the vMods to be so light and pocketable, something you're not going to get with steel.
But they are solid enough, and as I said- I love the feel and pocket friendly aspect of the vMods. A solid metal mod would not do for me to carry around....which is why my eVic and Natural and TEC stay home.

I will concede the the one piece that could be improved is the fire button. If the vMod could get a little nicer button...maybe metalized plastic with a smooth top, that would be great. It's not that the vMod button is faulty...it's not...it works well enough and the lock has not failed me yet. The quality of it is just not the same as say...the aluminum shell...sleek, smooth, the feel. My two cents worth.

Here is my take on the device.

The engineering behind it is exceedingly clever as regards feed system. Still the best I have seen in a bottom feeder well over a year since launch.

Don't let the alu and plastic blind you to how robust the device is. I don't know how many times at vape meets I have deliberately dropped it picked it up without checking anything and vaped.

That is the VMod. Really smart design and far tougher than you would think.

I'm trying to squeeze as much performance out of my Vmod XL and Vmod 2.0. I'm getting comfortable with RBAs the last week or so, having built coils on my iGo-L a couple of dozen times now.

I picked up an A7 to use on the Vmod XL with a 510-510 connector. Has anybody used any other RBAs on either of the Vmods?

ShiFu to the rescue!!

I heard from ShiFu several days back...and again recently. He's helped me out and now I not just have a new chassis and chimney...but a whole new Vmod and a couple of bonus goodies, too! Very cool! The Cracks case/shell...sadly...is no longer in stock and the supplier who made them for Vapage went out of business. So ShiFu is trying to find a new supplier. He did send along a digi camo shell and a burl one...to make up for it, I reckon. At any rate: All is well now!!

By the way, I received a Cisco spec 501 @ 2.0 ohms, which I popped on my XL about three days ago. At first, I couldn't really see any difference when compared to the Vapage Hybrid atty. Until today...

I just went for a walk to get away from the markets for a few minutes, and my XL has started putting out quite a bit more vapor, and the flavor coming out of it has increased, dare I say, exponentially. I filled the bottle on the XL with VCV Nightshift 6mg over a week ago, and it is down to about 25% full, so I've had a LOT of vapes of this stuff from the XL using the Vapage Hybrid atty, both indoors and outdoors.

Let's see if this holds up in the coming days, or if it is a fluke based on atmospheric conditions.
