I can show you threads on ECF where people are saying other things. Ones I've seen you participate on.

Constantly comparing ecig saftey to smoking safety, doesn't really answer a whole lot, and instead just reminds anyone paying attention that these people likely engaged in some form of smoker's guilt. I know I have (many many years ago).

Let the likes of Dr. F. do what he does and while people may always be able to say, "it's not as bad as smoking," I think some will change their tune from, "this saved my life" to something along lines of, "this is hurting me and others who I do it around. I really have to stop."

So in a Nutshell, are you Saying that you Believe that there are No Risks involved in Inhaling Food Flavorings, Colorants and Artificial Sweeteners in the Dosages and Frequencies that an Average Vaper does?

Also. What about High Wattage vaping?

Do you believe that there Might be an Increase in Risk for a Vaper who Vapes at say 100 Watts?

How true, you are older than dirt and I am only old enough to remember Harry S. Truman as a president and Bob Devaney as the first great Nebraska coach but it seems to me that there are more who believe that "it is their calling" to tell others how to live today or, perhaps, they are louder and exert more power by government. Maybe I am simply less tolerant of those who know all and look to impose it on me. Who knows?
Go, Big Red

I couldn't even begin to list all the things I've done that are "bad" for me over the years and I am still here. Life is full of choices. Seems like there are an awful lot of people that want others to make those choices for them and even more that believe it is their calling to oblige.

I can't even imagine how you got this from what I said, but am used to you not reading posts accurately, asking a loaded question, and only filling your response posts with questions.

So are you Saying that there Is some Risk associated with Vaping?

Because you Kinda Dodged the Question.

I have said, consistently, that there is a risk associated with everything on this planet.

With vaping, the risk does strike me as akin to drinking tap water at another person's house who you consider friend, but who you have not seen lab results of that water to establish, with high degree of certainty, that it is safe for you. Both over the short and long term. That friend may tell you they drink the water every day, but this does nothing to answer your concerns, however minor they may be, with long term effects.

Everyone on this planet that has drank water has died. I am currently not aware of any exceptions to this. There is some risk associated with drinking water.

Just as there is some risk associated with vaping.

I am a Vaper the see's Vapor as safer the SMOKE.

I know at the very least since I vape NETs. I am inhaling some of the chemicals naturally present in tobacco. I am also inhaling Glycerin and Nicotine vapor. I assume since I have seen no evidence to the contrary, just to be safe, that NOT all of these chemicals are particularly GOOD for me. I also ASSUME, that while Vaping may not be good for me it's GOT to be better than Smoking.

You want to take that as, "Vaping is bad for you". I suggest to repeat basic elementary school, Grammar. Not that mine is any good.

When the other option is combusted material the answer is vaping is good for you. I can't compare vaping to not smoking because without vape I would still be smoking and still wouldn't be trying to quit.

There is no situation where vaping can be bad for me because in all other hypothetical situations I am smoking instead.

Thus vaping is good for me.

Well the antz policy is working a treat isn't when "is vaping really safe" threads are popping up on most vaping forums seriously people if your not sure research it like I did when I started vaping these threads are becoming tiresome and counter productive not to mention the field day opponents could have linking to the vaping community questioning itself. As for smokers\vapers guilt I've never heard anything so ridiculous in my over forty years of life a sure sign of people with nothing better to do with their time. It's really simple if your going to take any activity up research it and find out about it and make an educated decision for yourself if you can't or won't do that good for you don't start threads on forums asking about it. I smoked for over thirty years tried everything out there to quit and couldnt heard about vaping looked into it and decided whatever else it was better then tobacco smoking over two years in lungs are clear, breathing problems gone and I dont smell disgusting so there you go.

You can twist yourself inside out on any issue on an internet forum and never get any nearer to the truth or a reality you can live with go look up the research read through it and make your choice.

That's ANTZ position after unsuccessfully trying to find a real scare. If people felt for it then the ANTZ reached their goal.

Vaping is classified as tobacco harm reduction, by researchers who vape in the vaping community, and by vape-friendly advocacy and science groups.

And all you do by repeating what you said here is give yourself license to call people ANTZ if they see vaping as "harm reduction" rather than "harm free".

Responding to the bolded part.

Smoker's guilt is result of people who have heard "smoking kills" while not doing the research and thinking critically while doing it. Smoking doesn't kill. I've research this. Yet, there are many smokers who will not smoke around others (indoors) because they believe it is harming those people. The 2nd hand smoke junk has been, to some degree, debunked. Yet, even on a vaping forum, there are ex-smokers who are so convinced it harms, that when I suggest otherwise, they just dismiss it as nonsense (and not worth their time to do the research).

These same people strike me as ripe for engaging in vaper's guilt when ANTZ convinces people that "vaping kills."

I still smoke (moderately) and don't experience the problems I experienced when being a heavy/abusive smoker. So, it really shapes my opinion when an ex-smoking ANTZ-like speaking person comes along and thinks they know stuff when reality (from research/critical thinking) shows they are rather clueless.

there has to be some inherent danger/safety risk..

Saying that something MAY have inherent danger/safety risks is one thing.
Saying it HAS to have some inherent danger/safety risk is another thing altogether.

I doubt his goal is to give himself license to call people ANTZ.
It seems more likely it was to expose the falsity of the statement he was quoting.

And also to point out that the ANTZ would love for all of us to agree with the statement he was quoting.
Which they certainly would.

EDIT: Having said all that, I don't necessarily agree with the idea of calling people on this forum ANTZ.
