The plastic jars that the nic comes in do not have droppers.
The cobalt ones have droppers.
Use aber brown 60mL bottles for storing nic.

This has got me wondering now. I am going to send him a message and ask what kind of plastic is used. Theres got to be a reason everyone suggested glass bottles to me when I first started out.
You might want to hold off on that until I get a response. The dark bottles that he sends the nic in(I have no clue why the hell you guys are saying they are blue) Are ever so slightly see through. The white ones he sends the PG and VG in are not and may be made of a different material.I was thinking I might even just separate my nic into old 120 ml empty plastic PG and VG containers that I've saved.
Oh yeah. It absolutely makes a difference. I think temperature is a BIG factor. My first bottle of nic I kept on my mixing desk when I first started. Once I was 3/4th the way through it had a nasty chemical/fetid smell. Now I store my nic in the freezer at a very cold temperature. It doesn't freeze. It might make a difference where you store it. Especially the extreme difference between storing in the freezer compared to storing in the back of a closet. Unfortunately, with 3 grandsons in the house, there's no way I could store anything like nicotine in such a public place as a freezer!
I will post his response in this thread as soon as I get it.Let me know what he says.
It is a better flavor carrier. Meaning you have to use less flavoring in high PG mixes to get the same amount to come through while vaping.Anyways, the reason I chose 100% PG nic was because I heard it dissolves flavors better??
Meh, not really. They are both darkened bottles used to store juice/nic to prevent light from decomposing the nicotine down into its tobacco specific nitrosamines. Which we allll know, are cancer carcinogens. Is there any reason for the whole blue vs brown bottle thing other than the type of top it comes with?
Yes, Most defiantly. While letting already made juice sit out to steep and oxidize slightly to enhance the flavor, it will have the exact opposite effect on unmixed nicotine. Once a juice has steeped and oxidized just enough it should be kept in the refrigerator or freezer to prevent further decomposition of the nicotine. And should I really store my nicotine juice in the freezer?
They can only become so steeped. Once their flavor reaches the maximum potential the only thing left oxidizing is the nicotine. Which as I said before tastes f'ing disgusting when it gets old. I've never had a mix start to taste like nasty nic from over steeping. Then again, I freeze it after a week or so to prevent that. If your wet socks smell like old nic you should clean your feet more often.I always thought they were getting extra steeped and better!! But I guess not? They will eventually turn fetid and like wet socks?!

Only 1 way to find out! hehehNoo!! What if they're like that already?!!
Good idea. I reccomend a 60mL brown glass bottle. lmaoMaybe I'll just mix those together for now since I'll never vape those juices anyways unless I run out during the zombie apocalypse.
Oh really?ok.. yes.. I've been drinking.

You did good kyi. You did good.I am proud of not making too many tpyos however ^_^
Hi Joe,
Good to hear from you again.
Our nicotine solutions are packaged in dark amber PET containers mainly for shipping safety.
While PET is a decent oxygen/moisture barrier, and has fair to good chemical resistance, for long term customer storage I strongly recommend amber glass bottles.
If you’re storing more than a month’s worth of nicotine solution, my best recommendation is to split up your nicotine into several smaller glass bottles with very little airspace at the top, and store in the freezer.
This will keep your nicotine as fresh as possible, as long as possible.
Using smaller bottles will also help avoid opening and closing the same large bottle of nicotine over and over again, exposing it to more oxygen and moisture each time.
Bottles that hold about 1-2 week’s worth of nicotine base for mixing is ideal since you’ll only need to take one bottle out of the freezer every week or two and leave the rest untouched.
It’s a minimal one-time investment to keep your product fresh since the glass bottles can be rinsed and reused indefinitely.
Our PG and VG are shipped in white HDPE containers.
HDPE has excellent chemical resistance and there is no need to transfer the PG and VG from these containers.
They can be stored at room temperature in a typical cool, dry, dark location.
Personally I would’ve preferred using the same HDPE containers or glass for our nicotine solutions, but due to safety concerns we had to make the next best selection.
Broken glass could puncture the containment bags, posing a hazard during shipping, and we were concerned HDPE might have caused a customer to confuse the nicotine with PG or VG during mixing.
On a sidenote, we’re in the process of moving to a new facility in Orlando, FL so we’re going to be limiting stock levels and periodically closing the site for a few days this month to make it easier to oversee construction and train new staff, but after we get settled in the new location in Feb. we’ll be reexamining our shipping containers/methods, and possibly adding liter sizes along with the other plans we discussed earlier.
More on that later, but right now we just have to get through the next few weeks of moving stress.
Hopefully everyone can bear with us through the move and the growing pains.
All the best,
John MacLeod
So to summarize^
It would be best to split up your nic into smaller glass bottles to minimize air exposure and oxidization.
Putting it in an empty PG/VG bottle would be better than the bottle the nic comes in, so long as you label it.
I'm not a chemist. lol
It depends on what it is made out of. The nic may leach chemicals out of it.
purelyscientific said:Also, it would be better to store nic in smaller bottles.

Confirmed it does not have the Diacetyl in it. I found out after I bought it though. Its buried here in these forums somewhere. You can find it if you search for wilton or butter. I was happy to find out I can use it with impunity.
