Well, I think this Fishbone Plus needs a new home. Any suggestions? The new home must contain at least one person with stronger hands than mine. I just broke the glass trying to get the blasted thing apart. I had to take it up to 65 watts on the Target to get a response from it, but I had some 3mg juice in it and it was WAY too harsh. So I figured it needed some zero nic. I let it cool off a bit, then tried to wriggle the glass off, but maybe it was still too warm because it cracked. I still have the spare glass for it if there's another person who's better at working these things than I am. I think there's just too much frustration in it for my bad hands to handle. If there are any suggestions, please PM me.

I'll try the little Stumpy for my rda. At least there's no glass on that, and I can get it apart.

Sorry to hear about your struggles with the Fishbone. And with the cat. Can't help at all with the cat, I have the same problem. Can't really help with the Fishbone either, as I haven't tried one yet, though it's on my wishlist. Or maybe that should say Fishlist? The batteries though I suspect are LG HE4s. Not positive, but that'd be my first guess.

Don't give up on it so fast. Take the Claptons out of it and put in (2) 1.0ohm coils for your .5 build that you like. Maybe if you lube the o-rings with e-juice it will be easier to take off. Then if yo don't like it give it away.

@Lannie, I'd rolled a couple of clapton coils for my Velocity when I first got my Clapton wire. Can't remember what mod, but I just couldn't drive the lil buggers (none of my mods goes over 75W - all single-battery devices.) I finally just pulled out one of the claptons, and I had a very delightful vape. I think I ran that coil around 30W (I've slept since then)

For the most part, I'm quite content with single-coil builds. Clapton or SS or Kanthal. It's just easier for *me*

I've toyed with grabbing a +100W mod, but it's not my typical style. I don't see too much of dual claptons in my future

It is a DIVINE lil RDA. I have two more en route via slowboat (if the 2nd one ever "restocks") Between them and my velocities, I have sweet RDAs that are easy for me to build, have a decent sized juice well, and just plain WORK.

However, I LOVE seeing how you set the coil IN THE MIDDLE. why the hellz haven't I thought to do that (especially after my dissertation to Lannie about not often building dual coils....)

I can't take credit for the center mount coil my dear, it was the Rayonati Sloth from the Rayon Thread who I picked it up from. I run with two air holes open, put the cap back on lining up the closed third hole dead center of the post.

You might prefer the V-Mini to the full-sized one. Shorter topcap - a bit better flavor.

You may not accept the credit, but you showed the pic, and for that I'm appreciative. I'll try that next time I throw a coil on there. Because the Velocities have dual holes on each post, I would be more prone to build dual coils on that one, rather than the Stumpy. I was looking at Low Pros from Mt. Oak, but I didn't bite. I do like the Stumpy for its sleek look (and looks awesome on my Pico )
